As I sat in my seat, I looked around my English class; the classroom was considerably bigger than last year; it looked dull, like all the life was sucked out of it. By this point, I realised that even the washed-out walls, the broken chairs and the smashed window could tell that everyone was in mourning.

"Good morning class, today, a new student has arrived all the way from New York city." Explained the teacher

All the boys starting yelling in excitement. I swear boys are exactly like dogs, I don't understand why girls are always so pleased when a boy likes her, you have to feed them, clean them and you have to make sure they don't get in any mischief and for what? To break up with them after 5 months, like seriously what's the point?

I hastily snapped out of my thoughts; to see a tall brunette figure walk in to the classroom as her high thigh boots were pounding the floor, her back was straight and her chin was held up high, her hips swayed elegantly from time to time and she walked with confidence. Her channel purse was hanging from her shoulder whilst she was wearing a black fur coat over her crimson red turtle neck paired with some dark blue jeans with rips all over them to fit the trend of the month. To finish the look all together, dangling from her ears were two florescent, golden hooped earrings.

As she stood there scanning the room, we could all smell the scent of expensive perfume entering the room; the smell was strong, full of poise. Wow, I never knew that someone could fit so much confidence in themselves without seeming egotistical.

The smug look on Freya's face was erased as the thought of this new girl taking her spot at the top. Freya's face now showed a look of jealousy and hatred; I could tell she was planning something just by the look on her face. Freya is not one to back down from a fight, trust me.

"Hi! Hello! I'm Haley Haven, I moved here from NYC, which you probably already know and I'm here to stay." Haley exclaimed with a smug look on her face.

The teacher motioned Haley to sit down next to Tyson, whilst Tyson was blushing a vibrant pink; she laughed and sat down.

That's when I knew, I didn't like her.
