The next few days went by without me even realizing, I was so caught up with school and working at River Diner, that I forgotten about Tyson and Hayley. I occasionally, talked to Marcus when I would see him at the diner but that was it.

It had been two weeks from when Kol Milson died and it looked like everyone was already moving on with their lives and it no-longer interested them; I just can't imagine ever getting over his death. You probably don't know what I'm talking about, so we are going to take a trip to the past...

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Summer of 2011, July 4th

Allison and Kol were laying down on a white and red picnic blanket, watching the fireworks fly into the sky one by one and making a loud *bang* when exploding. The view of so many colourful fireworks made Allison think of Kol. He was a kind and gentle soul, with his own flair of happiness. He was the polar opposite of Freya but no-one new that except Allison, everyone thought him to be mean and horrible; Allison and Kol had to hide the fact that they were in love (because of the whole family rivalry).

They would act like they absolutely hated each other in public but then when they were alone they were completely different. At first, Allison thought that Kol was very rude and impolite but then, they accidently went to the same oak tree and they just started talking, they then realised that they were quite similar and they both completed each other; they then started dating in secret and Allison only told Tyson and Marcus. They weren't exactly pleased, hearing that Allison and Kol were dating but Allison didn't care; she knew that she was happy and that's all she cared about.

Kol slowly turned to look at Alice. "What?" Allison sarcastically asked, with a huge smile on her face.

"Nothing. I'm just admiring how beautiful you are."

Sorry for the short chapter, I'm feeling not so well!  Hope you guys are enjoying the book so far. I have a lot more things planned! :)
