The night passed in a swish for both the boys with neither of them getting a lick of sleep. Mind the kink.
Hoseok's toned chest was now filled with numerous blooming marks, both red and purple. If Yoongi thought of him as an art? Well now he added his own touch to the masterpiece under him.
But the pale man was no different, the other boy hadn't left a single part on his body unmarked, even his jaw had a beautiful purple bruise blooming for him to hide from people.
"Yoon?" Hoseok whispered lightly and his chest vibrated under Yoongi.
"Hm?" The boy answered, face right above Hoseok's heart as he drew patterns on his exposed chest.
"I don't have the key." He told, voice too solemn to be playful.
Yoongi wanted to be offended and fight, but something told him to let it slide.
He lifted his head up to look at the boy who had none of the mischievous glint in his eyes, unlike the night before.
"It's funny really." Hoseok shrugged as Yoongi got off him.
The boy now sat up, Yoongi on the bedside chair, examining his face with keen eyes.
"All this um mafia stuff...It's kinda inherited you see?" He mumbled, not seeming very proud of it.
Yoongi couldn't help but feel a little guilty too, but he put his hand over the boy's. Lightly stroking it, encouraging him to go on.
It still wasn't day fully, yet.
The window was drawn open and Yoongi could see dawn just breaking, painting the sky in a palette of different blues and a hint of egg yolk yellow.
"This is a safe house Dad built here in America just in case, yk?" The boy hesitated for a split second but then went on. "In case I ever needed to hide."
"He was right..." a bitter smile crept up his lips but disappeared as quickly as it came.
"He brought me here when I was um...I was seven." The boy continued, eyes fixated on his lap, as if too embarrassed to meet Yoongi's eyes.
"Dear...lord." Yoongi hissed, tightening his grip around Hoseok's hand.
"Yeah."
"Oh and that was HIS favourite poem, he'd read it to me everyday and...I didn't even know what that means until-" The boy's voice cracked and he clenched his jaw to not let any sobs escape.
Yoongi now sat besides the boy, making him hide his face in his chest, gently ruffling his hair.
"It's okay, Hobah. Don't cry. I'm here, now." The man reassured the younger, kissing his temples repeatedly.
"He had too many enemies." Hoseok sniffled, gulping down the lump in his throat.
"There were numerous attacks on him from time to time so he had to have places like these."
The boy looked up at the ceiling, continuing with his explanations as Yoongi just listened and nodded.
"After he um, he k-killed himself I..." The boy clenched his jaw, trying too hard to keep himself composed.
"It's okay Hobah you don't need to-" Yoongi tried to reassure him but the boy was having none of it.
"But you gotta know this, Yoongi! Trust me...just...just listen. I'm okay."
"After he died, I wanted to hide from them. Runaway and start anew, yk? Away from all the killing and bloodlust and filth, Yoongi I never wanted a part in any of this!" The last words came out as a painful scream. The kind that could give you goosebumps.
"I believe you." Yoongi whispered.
The words were enough to reassure the other boy to carry on.
"But my uncles and their goons and those...those associates Dad had..."
The boy was crying once again, but silently this time. With a mysterious grace to his eyes as the tears rolled down his cheeks, making no sound.
"They were too strong, Yoon. They found me. They found me and..."
He trailed off, staring at the only decoration in the room.
It was a painting of an empty road that split into two links, none of them having an end. The constant exposure to withering had made it fade but it was still clear enough for someone to infer it's basic makeup.
The boy frowned but then shook the daze away, continuing once again.
"I couldn't run away from the world my father built for me. Everything depended on me and I couldn't let them do whatever they wanted with the power I knew I could posses."
"Yoongi, If I had unleashed them to the world, unattended. Hell would've broken lose." The boy looked at Yoongi, his eyes so genuine that he couldn't help but surrender into believing them.
"So I...I stayed, Yoon." Hoseok finished as Yoongi stood up, walking to the other side of the small room, peeking through the broken glass window. Hoseok's eyes followed.
It was day. One could tell by the amount of sunlight that intruded through the little space. Yoongi stood still in all his glory, his model like figure in full display with the exposure of his pale torso, due to the lack of a shirt, illuminated by the sunlight as purple flowers blossomed on it.
But his eyes lacked any emotion, whatsoever. He'd learnt how to mask them due to the years spent in the police faculty.
"I didn't want you to be a part of it, Yoon. I didn't want you to get hurt because of me and that's the only reason why I never told you. I never- I didn't want you to be a bait for them to torture me. I...I was so scared, Yoon." Hoseok almost begged the other boy who just listened, emotionlessly.
"Yoobi..." Hoseok finally called out, being quiet for long enough. Expecting an answer.
"Let's run away, Hobi." Yoongi finally answered, his eyes meeting Hoseok's with an enthusiastic smile plastered across his face. The one Hoseok hadn't seen in two years, now.
The boy smirked, eyebrows stretched in utter amusement.
"What!?" He jumped up from his bed, leaping towards Yoongi, wrapping his arms around him.
"What did you just say!? Please say it again?" Hoseok questioned the boy again, mirth obvious in his voice.
"Let's run away, Hoseok-ah." Yoongi repeated, nuzzling his face in the man's neck. "Let's please run away."
Hoseok's smile deepened.
He could do that, now that Namjoon was there.
