That night, Seokjin was all about thinking and despite being exhausted by the earlier events of the day, sleeping was the last thing on his mind.
Oh how he'd kept Taehyung at bay for a whole year after fessing up his love to him. How the boy was finally behaving and ready to let go of the thirst of vengeance pent up inside him. If only, If only Hoseok and Namjoon hadn't showed up at their apartment. If only Seokjin hadn't left Taehyung alone for them. If only Seokjin had the courage to choose. So many 'if onlys' crowded up Seokjin's mind, making him more resentful than ever and then he finally gave in.
Releasing a sigh, he got up and went to his study.

"I don't know, Jiminie but I can't see hyung hurt like that-" Jungkook spoke into the phone.
"Yes, Yes I know I know but still-"
"Yeah, ahan."
"Yes, you're right...I"
"Ah, I just hope Taehyung comes around. Hyung's still in love with him but he just won't admi-"
"Wait, Jim talk to you later, hyung's up." Jungkook saw Seokjin walk to his study but something told him to not interrupt and so, he didn't.

Not noticing Jungkook for obvious reasons. Seokjin left the door open, unlocking the passcode protected vault on the adjacent wall. It had a box placed in it, the box of things Taehyung had left him. The box Seokjin had kept hidden from the world. Just like his feelings for the boy, deep inside a secret vault in his heart.
He took it to the table, taking a seat in his chair and took a deep breath before taking the cover off.
And there it was, lying on the very top. The first and the only photograph they had had together, despite Jin not being a fan of photos. It was a polaroid, the color faded out by now. Like their epic love for each other.
Seokjin stared at it, reminiscence filling his existence and his mind strayed off.
