Out of all the people who could've witnessed them commit this horrible crime, why did it have to be the one that they were committing it for? Pucca, Garu, and Abyo could only stare in disbelief as the horrified Ring-Ring looked at them with eyes filled with horror and dread. What in the world was she doing out here, so late at night? It made all of them shake to their very core. The three of them could do nothing besides stare at Ring-Ring with widened eyes. Ring-Ring, on the other hand, shivered in the cold night, unable to move.

"W-What..." Ring-Ring stopped her screams. Now it looked like she wanted to know what they were doing and why. Her eyes, however, were still filled with the same look of terror. "What are you all doing this late at night...?"

"Y-You're the one who we must be asking that..." Abyo was the one who spoke up. Pucca and Garu were behind him, both preferring to stay silent over the situation they were in. Abyo sounded terrified and shaken, but knew that he was the only one who could get Ring-Ring away from here as soon as possible. "Why are you up so late?"

Ring-Ring gave a firm gulp. There was sweat coming out of her skin despite the low temperature surrounding the area. It looked like the sight in front of her was too shocking for her to accept. Her whole body still shook as she watched her friends standing over her own father's corpse. It looked like she was doing her very best to not panic and scream her lungs out. She instead bit her lip as she stared at the horrifying scene in front of her. When Abyo took a step forward, she ended up taking one backward.

"Er... did you somehow get lost somewhere?" Abyo asked her that question. "Hey, Ring-Ring. I'll help you back home."

Pucca and Garu covered Dong King's dead body using their small bodies. Even though their bodies were so small that you could see glimpses of the corpse, they had done their very best to do so. If Ring-Ring screamed at this very moment, and someone heard, then all their efforts up until then would be in vain. If that happened, they would be arrested by the police, and their goal of achieving their happy ending will not take place at all.

"I..." Ring-Ring had seen her father's corpse as it was too obvious to not be seen. However, since she was too young, she started making up false stories inside of her head. "I was searching for my father..."

"Your father? I'm sure he's back at home," Abyo didn't know that she knew the truth. He was good at violence and battles, but he wasn't that intelligent. Therefore, for him to think that Ring-Ring had seen her father's corpse would've been nothing short of a miracle. "It's so late at night. I am certain that he is worried about you, Ring-Ring."

However, instead of turning back and going home like Abyo had wanted her to, Ring-Ring kept on looking at him with those frightened eyes of hers. Pucca and Garu were trying their very best just to hide Dong King's body, despite knowing that Ring-Ring knew exactly what was going on here, but even so, they figured it was better to do something rather than just giving up. Despite having killed a grown man, they were merely children, and didn't know any better. This was their first experience with murder, after all. So young, yet so stained with the scent of blood.

"No, my father went out alone..." Ring-Ring frowned, not making eye contact. She was still shivering in her shoes, holding her cold body close. "I thought that it was because he got mad at me again. I certainly didn't expect him to be... dead... Ahhhhhhh!!!"

Unable to hold it in anymore, Ring-Ring let out a bloodcurdling screech. She got on her feet, and began to run for her life as though she was next. Realizing that she caught onto them, Abyo grabbed her by her wrist before she could run any further. He was a ninja in training and she was a frail child, so she didn't stand a chance.

"Let go of me!!" Ring-Ring screeched in the night, fear and terror present in her green eyes. "No, don't touch me, you murderer!"

Murderer? That single word rang inside of Abyo's head like a broken record. He grit his teeth in rage. After all that he had done to save her, this was how she would react to it? He went through all this effort for her sake, and now she would try and put it to waste? He wouldn't allow it. How could she be so ungrateful? He strengthened his hold on her wrist, almost strong enough to break it.
