Chapter 8: Why Me? (INCLUDES CUSSING)

--2 Weeks Later-- 

                                        Covering Since Been Home

My mom is now back home and I have been at the O2L house mainly since I got back. It's been awesome even though my mom says I hang out there too much. Trevor is the perfect boyfriend.

                                        Reality

It was like 8pm and I had just gotten home from hanging out with Connor and Trev. I was in my room on twitter and listening to music when my mom comes in. She comes over to me and slaps me across the face. 

"Why'd you do that?" I yell.

"Because I told you to stop hanging out with them you little bitch!" She yells.

"They're my best friends! I can hang out with who I want!' I yell back. She hits me again, but harder this time and then she kicks me in the leg and I scream in pain. 

"Fuck you! You need to stop hanging out with boys all the time and get real friends!" She yells. I whimper in pain.

"Please stop..." I say in pain.

"I'll be back tomorrow night with more...." She says and walks out. I pick up my phone and call Trevor. I am crying and shaking.

"Hello?" He says when he answers.

"Trevor help... Come over now...." I reply shakily.

"Peyton what's wrong?" He asks worriedly.

"Just come please..." I  whimper and my face and legs sting in pain.

"I'll be there soon.." He says and hangs up.

My face stings like hell and my leg hurts so freaking bad. Trevor come in through my window about 2 minutes later. He sees me on the floor and rushes over.

"Baby what happened? Where are you hurt?" He asks.

"My mom.. She came in here and started beating me and cussing me. She hit me and kicked me. Trevor it hurts really bad. I can't move." I reply.

"What? Why would she do that?" He picks me up and puts me in his lap.

"She said I hang out with you guys too much.. Then she said she would be back tomorrow with more.." I cry even more and Trevor wraps his arms around me.

"Do you wanna come stay at the O2L house tonight with me?" He asks.

"Please." I reply.

"Do you need anything?" He asks as he sat me down onn the bed.

"Just my phone, charger, and maybe clothes." I reply.

"You can just wear some of mine.. Can you walk?" He asks. I try to get up, but it hurts way too bad.

"No it hurts too bad... I can try..." I reply.

"No don't I'll carry you." He come over and picks me up. I put my arms around his neck as he holds me.

"Thank you Trev for coming over and staying with me." I say to him.

"It's okay baby.. How bad do you hurt? Should we take you to the hospital?" He asks worriedly. 

"I think I'll be fine, but I'm scared to go back home..." I say and start crying.

"Shhh baby don't cry... You can stay with me as long as you need..." He replies. We get to the O2L house and go inside. Connor sees me and rushes over.
