Meeting His Parents For The First Time pt 1

You knew, from overhearing a conversation on the phone, that Danny wanted to take you back home to meet his parents. you were nervous, he was the first partner who had wanted you to meet his parents. he was proud of you and loved to remind you how special and amazing you were to him, to not care what others thought since he loved you no matter what.

You knew of his family but not enough to go into details about them. like you knew his mother was Christian and his father was Jewish. you knew his dad was amazing at martial arts and so he would help Danny practise his martial arts. you also knew he was half Korean on his mum's side and that he liked to embrace his Asian heritage.

"calm down baby- we're only going up for the weekend" your boyfriend chuckled as you hurriedly tried to pack some nice clothes whilst mumbling things to yourself like you were rehearsing interview questions. you were stopped when his arms wrapped around you and pulled you back into his chest "shhh" he whispered in your ear "calm down darling, it's okay, take some deep breathes for me" he coed and helped you calm down before starting to calmly pack both of your bags with you.

you decided you wanted to drive, to try and take your mind off of the stress and nerves over meeting your boyfriend's parents. you loved him, you didn't want his parents to not like you. you wanted a healthy relationship with them and their approval as their son's partner.

you just sat in the car, you didn't want to get out and meet his parents already- it was too soon- maybe you should have waited-...you didn't even realise you were shaking till Danny held your hands in his own and squeezed them gently "darling...why are you so nervous hm?" he asked with that cute smile that you loved with your whole heart.

"I just want to make a good impression," you said with a small pout. Danny chuckled back and ruffled your hair genty before giving your forehead a sweet kiss "they'll love you, sweetheart, I promise, just be your charming lovable self and everything will all go smoothly" he comforted you as you relaxed and nodded back happily "okay! let's do it!" you said enthusiastically, he then chuckled and kissed your head again before leading you inside.
