Her hands wiped yet another stone, crushing the natural, ivy-green moss to the side- till the writing was clearer to her.
Squinting her eyes, Nageen read the following words.
In the damp soils
Forever lost of bloodThat spills for one's ache
To raise their voiceBeyond their vocals
Beyond 'society's limit'Because one is thought of as weak
When gentle as the windFor can he bring his voice higher
To break the flowOr can he just step aside
Feel the breeze brush his faceAnd forever understand
That stepping asideIs one's aid to peace

(This poem is dedicated to those who can not speak up for themselves against society or family- especially when they are being let down. Your silence is your aid to peace- it may be necessary to speak up, yes, but sometimes people can not find the ability nor the situation to do so- and that is when we need to be heard. Know that Allah is All-Hearing and All-Knowing. And ultimate peace is not with a quiet world- but it come from Him)
