"Why can't you just let me go?" I had asked. "Because you are a part of the pack now and you drank the blood of the fallen." said Trey. I got up to my feet and started walking again. "What do you think you are doing?" Trey asked. "Um walking." I said sarcastically. Trey gave me a look of insanity. "Whatever." Trey stated. "Um Trey..." I had said. "Yes." Trey replied. "Trey!" I shouted. Trey turned to look at me to see the Dark Howl pack with me. "Run!" Trey screamed to the top of his lungs. We both ran for it.
Trey had gotten in front of me. "Trey! Run faster they're gaining on us!" I had yelled. We began to run faster and faster. After a few minutes or two Trey and I lost them.
"Are you okay?" I asked Trey. "Yeah. Are you?" Trey asked me. "Yeah I'm fine." I replied. "Elizabeth, you're bleeding. You need to clean-" Trey began to say before I carelessly interrupted him. "Look Trey. I'm sorry all of this is happening but I don't want to be a smelly mutt." I said without a second thought. Trey looked to the ground and whimpered. "Oh..." Trey had said. I then realized I probably should've just kept my mouth shut. I grabbed Trey by the arm and lifted up his face. "I'm sorry Trey. I didn't mean it like that. I'm so-" I started to say. "Don't worry about it." Trey had commented. "But Trey-" I began to say then Trey had interrupted me, "Really Elizabeth. It's okay. I know you didn't mean it like that."
I looked into his perfect brown eyes and gave him a hug. "Now come on. We have to get going before they catch up to us. Are you sure you that you're okay enough to walk?" Trey asked. "Yeah. I'm fine." I replied.
"Ok. First stop is a creek that's nearby." Trey had said. "What? Why a creek?" I had asked. "So you can clean those cuts on your shoulder." Trey had replied. "It's fine." I had commented. "No ands, ifs, or buts about it." Trey had said. "But Trey..." I said. "Elizabeth Jane." Trey had said. "Yes Trey Alexander." I replied sarcastically. Trey gave me a smirk. "Alphas orders." Trey had said with a stern voice.
"Damn alphas orders." I commented under my breath. "What was that?" Trey had asked. "Nothing." I quickly replied. "Mhm," Trey had said,"let's go." He started walking and I followed him.
