Trey and I had gotten up and got going. "Hey Elizabeth, are you hungry?" Trey had asked me with a smirk. "A little." I had replied. "Its breakfast time." Trey had said with his nose up sniffing the air.
I looked at him like he had lost his mind. Which I'm pretty sure he had. Trey dashed off after the animal scent that he had. Yet, I couldn't smell a thing. Maybe it was just because he's the alpha. I don't know. I ran after Trey without a thought. I finally caught up to him and I let a sigh of relief. "Trey! What we're you thinking! You've gone crazy!" I had said to Trey. He then gave me a quick kiss and said, "You gotta love me." I looked at him and laughed. "I don't have to..." I started to say then Trey got a worried look on his face. "But I do." I had finished.
He looked at me with a smile and gave me a kiss on the forehead. "Well, well, well, what do we have here?" The man standing behind us had said. Trey shoved me to the ground and put his arm out in front of me like he was in some protective mode. "Go while you still can." Trey had said to the man. Trey had let out a quick growl. The Dark Moon pack had caught up to us.
I got up to my feet and Trey shoved me behind him. He was being really protective, he would let the man come anywhere near me. "Elizabeth... run when I say now." Trey had whispered to me. "My alpha is gonna love this said the man. "Now!" Trey had yelled. I ran with my heart racing. I look back behind me to see Trey ripping the man's neck out. Then I stopped. I took a closer look to see another man getting ready to jump on Trey. "Trey look out!" I had yelled. Trey looked up and threw the second man against a tree breaking his neck.
Trey ran towards me and grabbed me by the arm and said, "let's go." Trey then realized we won't be able to stop running until we find where our pack members are at.
