Now deciding to wake up from my deep slumber, I lazily dragged myself towards the kitchen. Not everyone is a morning person, right?

On the way, I saw Ace sleeping on the couch, arm on the ground and snoring loudly. I then remembered his words last night,

(Name) I know that we haven't known each other that much yet but trust me, I've decided. I will come back here for you and bring lots of things and stories from outside this island, the whole world even and tell it for you to know the outside world. I promise.

The thought of it made me feel excited and appreciated. I thought that if he knew he would suddenly take me away too, like what those pirate scums do. But instead, he even made a promise to me.

I brushed the thought aside and finally made it towards the kitchen, to prepare our breakfast. I made a pancake for two and added bacons and random fruits on the side just to make it fancy then serve it by the table.

I saw Ace making his way to the table, sniffing his way to the dining area. He opened his eyes and saw the food before him and looked at me

"Yeah it's yours" I said and nudged him to eat it and started eating mine. I was shocked when I saw Ace putting the pancakes in his mouth in one gulp, including the fruits on the side then I realized that I forgot that this is how he ate yesterday by the banquet.

We both heard his stomach growl, meaning that he was not yet full and the food was not enough for him.

"Sorry Ace, I forgot that you have a big appetite!" I said and offered him my food, he looked at it and had a questioning look,

"Are you giving it to me?" he said "Are you sure?" I nodded at him "Thank you for the food" he said then bowed.

"What are you gonna eat then?"

"Oh, don't mind me. Everyday everyone prepares for a banquet. We share our blessings to each other" I said and smiled

"Cool!" He said "But, am I still allowed there?" he asked me after finishing the last bite on his food.

"Yeah why not? Is it because of what happened yesterday?" I started taking the dishes on the table and putting it by the sink to wash it.

"Don't mind everyone. As I said last night, they were just too overprotective of me"

"Ok if you say so"

After I finished the dishes I went to my room to change into a fresh clothes so I can finally start my day and go outside.

Ace was sleeping on the couch by the time I finished changing so I decided to wake him.

"Ace, wake up we're going out now!" I poke him by the side but he just snored louder. So this time, I moved closer to his ear and to blow it. Someone said it's effective so I'm gonna try.

I blowed on his ears lightly then Ace suddenly jumped up and accidentally pushed me with him on the floor, causing a loud thump.

"EHH! (NAME)?!" Ace said on top of me as he hold the side of his ears that I blew on.

"Ouch!" I felt the bump on my head that grew bigger in time then gently touched it.

"Sorry (Name)! I was startled by what you suddenly did" he now sat on the floor and bowed at me, I told him that I was fine and just laughed it off because of the expression he made before this happened.

Lesson learned, (Name).

By the time we finally went out by the door and opened it, people were gathered on it as if they were spying on us inside. Everyone backed off and pretended that nothing happened but I just let it off the hook this time because it is too early to be mad.
