"Ace, can I ask you a question?" She asked and he hummed as an answer.

 

"Do you believe in life after death?" The question took him by surprise, and not really knowing the answer to that, he just replied what came to his mind.

 

"Not really, but I'm not interested in living a thousand years; I just... Need to live today," he said, shrugging it off as he lay on the grass just beside her after.

 

"Do you?" he asked as he looked at the girl beside him with curious eyes.

 

"I... Yeah. For me, it is not the end of a journey, but a new beginning." She stared at the twinkling night sky and admired it, along with him.

 

"No one ever dies, and life is forever. There's no such thing as death," she said, finishing her answer.

 

"Sorry! I blabbered too much and you had to hear all those stuffs." When she realized the stuffs, she told him she sat down facing him and did some random gestures with her awkward hands, and finally she took a peek at him and blushed 50 shades of red.

 

"H-hey, don't look at me like that!" She tried so hard to find words to speak when a side of his lips curled up.

 

"Has anyone ever told you that your eyes sparkle in the moonlight?" he said, still looking deep into her orbs, as if already looking at the very soul. She was tongue-tied.

 

"How mad would you be if I kissed you right now?" he said in a whispering manner.

 

"Stop joking about those kind of stuff," she answered and chuckled; clearly, she took it as a joke.

 

But then he stared at her still; his eyes shifted down towards her plump lips. Both were looking at each other as if they were in their own world. They leaned in and shared each other's warmth through the contact of their skin.
