(Shit hits different when your listeing to love talk)
Namjoon POV:

The next day when I woke up, I re-read the notes I had written the night before, smiling, as I remembered, this could change quite a bit of both of our lives. Getting up, I brushed my teeth and my hair, then got in the shower.

After I finished my cleaning session, I took an apple, and hurried to school, hoping I won't be late to my first class of the day. Yet as always, no matter how much I hoped for something, I won't get it, unless I act on it. In this case, acting on it would be setting an alarm to wake up early. Sadly for me, I did not. As a result, I'll be getting detention, for being late to class.

"Kim Namjoon. Late for class again, I see," Mr. Choi said, not looking away from the board, as I walked into the classroom, going straight to the back of the classroom and sitting in my seat.

"I'm so sorry sir, I woke up late, but it won't happen again," I stated, genuinely sorry for interrupting his class.

"Okay I believe you, just make sure to keep your word." You see, Mr. Choi was one of the best teachers in school. He explains things in a way that we all understand, and he even lets us call him by his first name, San. Though he is a bit strict when we are misbehaving, so don't get too comfortable with your words.

Throughout school, I tried to keep my distance from Jungkook, to keep him comfortable, but I sent him a few smiles when I saw him looking at me.  Later after school, I met up with my friends, Taehyung and Jin, back in San's science room to finish the project that had been assigned. After we had finished, we bid each other farewell, and went our own ways.

As I was leaving, I got a phone call from my cousin, Taeyong.

“Hello?”

“Hey Namjoon! It’s been a while, hasn’t it?”

“That’s for sure. It’s been, what, four years since we’ve seen each other.”

“Four years too long, bro, we need to see each other.”

“Now? I just got out of school though.”

“Well, are you in school now?”

“No? I just said-”

“THEN WHAT’S THE PROBLEM?”

“Nothing, I’m just tired.”

“Get over it.”

“Oh- Well if you wanna meet so bad, we will.”

“YAY!”

“Where do you wanna meet then?”

“How about Neo Cafe, I heard they have pretty good coffee.”

“Where is that? Isn’t that near the new skating rink?”

“There’s a mew skating rink?”

“Yeah, you didn’t know?”

“Of course not! I’ve been out of town for four years! We should go there sometime.”

“We really should, I’ve been meaning to check it out sometime anyways. But out of town? You were in America! That’s out of the country!”

“Hey! Chill man! You know I just wanted to go to college.”

“Jaehyun, College, same thing. Anyways, I’m here, but where are you?”

“Turn around.”

I turned around, and hung up the call, smiling widely when I saw Taeyong. I ran up to him, and tackled him in a tight hug. Because of how tight I was hugging him, he could only stick part of his hand out, and pat my back.

“We’ve been apart for four years and the first thing you do is try and kill me by suffocating me, cool, I guess.” Taeyong says, sounding out of breath. I immediately let go and repeatedly apologised to him. I have been Taeyong-deprived for long enough, and it really took an effect on me.

We orded our food and drinks played mini golf, and promised each other never to fall out of contact like that ever again.

The rest was history.
