Today is the day.

Your first day at your new job. You're up and running, getting all of your things ready in your go-bag, in case the team gets called out for a case early. You woke up way to early this morning, but that's because you're excited for today.

Normally some people wouldn't be all that excited for their first day at a new job, because you have to meet new people, get used to being the newbie, but not for you. You're more than excited. It's like the first day of school, when you're all nervous and anxious on who your teacher is going to be and whether or not the popular kids are going to like you.

For you, it was always easy to make friends, you were always the one to talk to everyone and make them feel included with everyone, but still not be annoying. Growing up an only child, would make people think that you didn't know how to socialize with other children, but you were a social butterfly. All the way from elementary to college, you were always apart of some club or sport, so you'd be included and know what was going on, so you could let more people know as well.

But now here you are at 28 years old, living alone in an apartment with your dog Luna, no parents or family with you, a new state, no friends, but hopefully that will all soon change.

Stepping out of your bedroom, you walk into your kitchen, making yourself a cup of coffee and popping a bagel into the toaster. While waiting for the coffee and bagel to be done, you walk back into your bedroom to check your appearance, one last time.

You had put on a light grey skirt, with a white shirt, a matching grey blazer, and a pair of white stiletto heels. You left your hair down, in its natural way, just parting it in the middle. Makeup was simple, just foundation, concealer, light blush, curled lashes with mascara, nude lip gloss, and setting spray.

Hearing the coffee machine beep and toaster as well, you walked back out into the kitchen and grabbed your to go cup, pouring the coffee in and adding some oat milk

Hearing the coffee machine beep and toaster as well, you walked back out into the kitchen and grabbed your to go cup, pouring the coffee in and adding some oat milk. You grabbed the cream cheese for your bagel and smeared it on, and placing it on a napkin.

Checking the time on your phone, you see that it's already 7:15. You spoke with your boss, Aaron Hotchner, yesterday morning, and he said to be in by 8, but you're thinking about going in early. The drive from your apartment to the BAU is a good 15 minutes, so you should be there a little after 7:30.
