Chapter 8

"Nagkayayaan department natin.Tara daw sa bar mamaya,mga 7 pm."Bungad ni Ched pagpasok sa kotse ni Archie.

Pauwi na kami ngayon at nagprisinta si Archie na ihatid na kami.Masyado na din kasing late.Ang daming kailangan tapusin kaya anong oras na din kami nakaalis.Ga-graduate na nga lang,na-stress pa.

"Count me in.Please,don't tell this to kuya."I point my finger on them,just to warn them.

"Okay.Sabihin ko na kasama na tayo,"Ched typed something on his phone.Probably, informing our blockmates.

I closed my eyes as Archie drove.It's been a hectic day.If only I could just go back on grade school.Adulting really sucks.Ang daming responsibility,ang daming kailangan tapusin at ang daming kailangan panindigan.

Gosh,I suddenly remembered Thunder.Talagang pinanindigan niya na we're on.Umakto talaga siya na parang boyfriend ko.He even ate lunch with us.That was so awkward.Hindi ko alam kung anong pumasok sa kukuti no'n.We hate each other's family and I hate him.I'm he hates me,too.Who doesn't?

"Anong isusuot niyo?Gusto ko matchy-matchy tayo,"Excited na tanong ni Ched sa amin.

"Pajama,"I simply said.Ched glared at me."Of course! Something exposing,duh?"

"Pajama's better,"Walang emosyon na komento ni Archie sa sinabi ko.

"Damn you,"I cussed.

Tinawanan lang kami ni Ched.Bumaba na si Ched dahil nandito na kami sa condo.Tiningnan ko lang si Archie na mukhang hinihintay ang pagbaba ko.He bit his lower lip and tried to utter a word.

"What's bothering you?"I asked.

Napasabunot muna siya sa buhok niya at tumitig sa manibela.Something's running on his mind.And I'm dying to know what it is.

"Did you really took a step on your plan?Thunder's acting like your boyfriend and that's pissing me off,"I saw a glimpse of pain in his eyes while he's saying those words.

I don't really want this,but I need to.For our family and for my brother.He'll hate me for this,but it's for his own too.I don't want him to catch all the problems that we should be sharing as a family.I don't want him to be drowned by problems that mostly caused by me.

"It's just for an act.Don't worry,I can handle it.I'm not a Leporre for nothing,"

"What if,he falls for you?Or the other way around,you fall for him?Anong gagawin mo,Aki?"

That question always run in my mind.

"We'll see,Archie...We'll see,"

I got off his car and waved him a goodbye.When I reached my floor,I sighed a deep breath.This whole thing make me wanna puke.It's so suffocating, everything was insane.

I was getting ready for the party when my phone rang.I looked in to my reflection on the mirror and wink at myself.

"Hello?"

"Are you coming?"

Napakunot ang noo ko ng marinig ang pamilyar na boses na 'yon.I once looked at the caller id and that number wasn't even on my contacts.What the f?Where did this man got my phone number?

"Where did you get my number?"I asked in a cold and bored tone.

"That's not important,"he simply replied.

"No,I won't go in that party kung 'yon talaga gusto mo malaman,"I lied."And please,kindly delete my phone number,you fucking british playboy!"

I heard him chuckled on the other line.I can also hear the loud sound from it.Damn,he's already there.
