Chapter 9

It's been a month and our graduation is just around the corner.Finally, college life is done!

And after this, I'll start to work at our company alongside with my brother.Now,he won't take the burden alone.I'll be here to help him and be his companion.

"What's your plan after you graduate,Aki?Tapos na din ojt natin,"Ched asked while we're walking towards our room.Archie was absent today dahil may sakit siya.I'm planning to visit him after school.

"I'll work, right away.That ojt thingy was so stressful,pinabinili lang nila ako ng coffee the whole time!"Yeah,you heard it right.Those permanent employees made fun of us and made us buy them there coffees.If they only knew kung sino ako, they'll get scared.

They even passed their works on me!

Sa company namin ako nag-ojt and I didn't want any special treatment kaya hindi ko sinabi kung ano talaga ang position ko sa company.

"Mine was chill and easy,"Pagmamayabang nito sa akin.

"Paanong hindi magiging madali?Ipinangalandakan mo kung sino ka,"

We continued to chitchat while walking towards our room.This was going to be a stressful day.

"Puntahan ko mamaya si Archie sa condo niya.Sama ka ba?"I put down my bag and sat on my chair as we got to our room.

"Nah,I have things to do."then he typed something on his phone,"Hindi naman ikamamatay ni Archie ang lagnat,"then he laughs.

I throwed my handkerchief on him.

"Elianarah,"

I rolled my eyes.Just by hearing his voice annoys me a lot.Isa lang naman ang tumatawag sa akin ng gan'yan.The one and only british playboy.Since that incident in the bar he kept on calling me Elianarah.

"What?"I turned my back and faced him.

I raised my brow and wait for him to talk.He bit his lower lip.Just by watching his expression,I know he doesn't even know what to say or he doesn't have the guts to say it.It's between that two choices.

"Spill it,don't waste my fucking time."I said, getting pissed.

He massaged the bridge of his nose and sighed."Nevermind," then he sat on his perspective chair who happened to be just beside mine.

"May lq 'yung lovebirds,"Joe said,one of our classmates that I wasn't close with.

"Shut up,"I said and glared at him.

Most of our blockmates just laugh.

"She's on her red days,so please understand."

Agad akong napalingon kay Thunder at nahampas siya ng malakas.Lakas ng trip ng British na 'to, ang tagal na sa Pilipinas slang pa rin magtagalog.

"Aki,nakahanap ka ng katapat mo."Biglang bulong ni Ched sa tenga ko at agad naman siyang tumakbo ng akmang hahampasin ko na siya.

Bakit ba nila ako pinagtitripan lahat?Kung nandito lang si Archie may napagtitripan sana ako.Hindi sana ako inaapi ng ganito.Aga-aga puro sama ng loob ibinigay sa akin ng mga tao dito.

Our class went on just like that.Ched and I ate lunch on the garden.We need some fresh air,'cause a lot of stressful things happened lately.Just a little wait and we'll graduate.Another suffocating field for me.I need to work at our company.

"Ched,kapag kaya sinabi ko kay lolo na buntis ako.Why do you think his reaction will be?"I asked,out of the blue.

Napakunot naman ang noo ko dahil sa biglaang pagkasamid ng kaibigan ko.I handed him a bottle of water.
