Kate snores in her sleep, and it's annoying as hell. I woke up the next day grumpy, I hardly slept due to her stupid noises. I clamped her nose shut a few times.... and that stopped it for a few minutes but it was back again in no time! I sighed staring at the room I awoke in, a room that was not my own. There were no posters on the wall like I had, no personal touches, just a plain room with different wall colors.

I walked into the bathroom and looked in the mirror, did I really belong here? You could see the stress all over my face, the grey under my hazel eyes, the frizzy, brunette hair that was falling out of a loose bun, the way my pink lips had gone pale and turned down slightly, I was a wreck. I stripped and got into the shower, letting the warm water soothe my skin and then later switching the water to cold to refresh my body. I stepped out of the shower and quickly turned my back to the mirror to check on my stitches. I had gotten into a brawl with this silly girl at my school about two weeks ago and she grabbed a compass and scraped it along my back creating an open wound. Of course I couldn't let that slide so I punched her in the face and knocked her out whilst blood gushed from my backside. The principal always saw me as such an innocent girl no matter what I did.. so he expelled her for weapon use, and I simply got detention. Knowing how to talk my way out of things pretty well didn't hurt either.

It seemed like it was healing pretty well, although I know i'll have some trace of this scar for the rest of my life. Why did we fight you may ask? Well this girl who just came to my school claims I slept with her boyfriend and then told everyone I was planning on getting rid of her, yeah it was pretty stupid because i'm a virgin and I didn't even know this the girl. Anyways, I confronted her and she kept her bad attitude and tried to walk away from me so I grabbed her shoulder and she slapped me and it went from there.

I got in most of the good hits and when I was finished and she was on the ground in pain, I sighed and turned around to leave the situation, that's when she found the compass and engraved my back with a long scar. People in my school liked to piss me off because they knew I had anger management problems, and that just made me even angrier, so for the most part I kept to myself.

"Hey, Arianna is that you in the bathroom?" Kate's voice pierced through the door.

"No, it's Freddy, I've come to take over your dreams," I hissed back. Who else could it be? I heard her chuckle as I got dressed for the day and walked out, steam following me like a cloud of smoke.

"I can get used to this, my last roommate used to wake up the same time I did, so we'd always fight for the bathroom," she rolled her eyes as if remembering the scene.

"Yeah, well i'd prefer not to get into fights often, so let's try to stay as civilized as possible huh?" I gave her a thumbs up and she returned it, assuring me she'd try her best. As she entered the bathroom I went out into the hall.

The walls were a brown colour with a few pictures that had motivational quotes here and there. The hallway extended for a long time until you finally reached the staircase, going down from there you had the meeting room where everyone would meet in the mornings. Behind the meeting room was the kitchen and the dining room nearby. Passing the dining room there was a door that lead to the gym, and another that lead to a personal therapy room. There was also a door behind the staircase that lead to a recreational room. I guess they didn't want us to feel absolutely starved of life, so they offered television in there, a few video games, and a few comfortable seats scattered. There was also a gigantic backyard that was fenced in, and a pool and a jacuzzi. All in all this place wasn't so bad, it actually felt like a hotel at times.

I noticed the two boys from yesterday who were gossiping about Sam and decided to walk over. They were in the middle of an intense conversation on whether Jason Parker or Lauren Smith held the best party of the year. I attended both parties and decided to share my point of view.
