Believe it or not, I'm not lookin' for a 3way thank u very much. And also my ex is ugh. And his wife is annoyingly kind & painfully smart.

Dear r/relationship_advice,
Thanks again for your kind remarks. I'm back again because my best friend's going through her own love problems so I, therefore, have less time to rant about my love problems to her. So here we are. For the last 24 hours, I have been doing my very best to avoid McDreamy & his McHot wife. Yes, this is what I call them, and what I will call them on here, too.
You see, McHot asked to speak with me today and my boss even encouraged her to. And McHot asked if McDreamy told me why he left her, and I said that he did, and she asked if I took him back, and when I said no she said "good girl". Seriously, "good girl." And not in a way that was possessive over him. In a way that insinuated she was proud of me. And then I couldn't handle it anymore and I asked her if we could only talk when it's professional.
Because hello, I am a professional here, and I can't go around with people telling me I'm a "good girl," around my workplace. I have patients to think about! Also she said there were two sides to every story. I haven't heard hers yet, but I'm kinda curious. Not curious enough to ask. Just curious enough to wonder. See where I measure up. But I'm not gonna do that. Because I am STILL AVOIDING HER.
Okay, and now I'm gonna reply to the people who made me suggestions. Keep 'em coming. At the very least they're soothing my nervous energy.

girl dont lie you do got a crush on this chick, I mean the way you talk about her aka the pink scrubs, red hair and how it's so seductive. I say go for it, take a chance maybe she has a crush on you, if she does then you guys could have an excellent relationship.
I DO NOT HAVE A CRUSH ON HER. And it's a bit weird to call her a 'chick.' I have a roommate that does that. Anyway, if you met her you'd see what I meant by seductive. She's like, pure sex appeal. She's everyone's type. I'm not an exception here. And I feel too empty to hope that she would like me like that...

How does she treat you? Is she mean to you, or nice? Maybe she thinks that you are a good person even if you slept with her husband, you didn't know that. As for the husband, walk away unless it is work-related, and for the looks just ignore him
She treats me... Well, actually. Better than her husband does. You see, the husband does this hot-cold manipulative thing to get what she wants. And she doesn't... She just wants me to forgive her, or something. I'm doing my best to not talk to McDreamy. It's working most of the time.

Dear OP,
Start with friendship and go from there. The wife sounds really nice once you get to know her. I think you should try to be professional with your ex-boyfriend.
Good luck,
Hime
Okay, see that might be constructive. Friendship, I can do that. I'm good at making friends. I have lots of them. Well, five of them. Oops, I counted me. So, four of them. But anyway, every day I get to know her I get a new impression of her. It's like layers of an onion. Only nice-smelling. Like apricots.
