The train ride back to Hogwarts was as enjoyable as always, their same compartment with all of them together. The trolley lady came along and they all bought sweets to share. Well, everyone expect Remus with his chocolate, and when asked why, one would get a middle finger.

Remus, James and Diane were all told about what exactly happened to Sirius at Grimauld Place; Peter and Lily were also somewhat clued in. Diane was borderline feral just thinking about Bellatrix and Walburga. She also felt some type of agitation towards Regulus, but nonetheless, grateful. James was outraged with Bellatrix but content with Regulus' actions; convincing Sirius to not cut his relationship with the younger Black.

Remus did all he could to show Sirius that he was much more loved by them than his family; helping him planning pranks, inviting him to play quidditch, complimenting his, now neck-length, hair and just chatting with him.

Once they arrived at Hogsmeade Station, they split up for the horseless carriage ride: Sirius, Remus and Peter in one cart and Lily, Diane and James in another. As soon as the latter carriage moved, Diane started planning.

"Tomorrow morning, I'll punch the hell out of Bellatrix," she huffs, sitting back and crossing her arms, eyebrows furrowed.

"Why not Regulus?" asked Lily, curious.

"Yeah, why not 'Reggie'?" smirked James.

"Because I like him. And he actually helped Sirius," she replied coolly.

"You are forgetting you're sitting with a prefect; who's job is to stop plans like these, right?" commented Lily, examining her maroon painted nails.

"You know what they say, Evans; 'Friends over prefect duties'," cheeked James, laying back and putting his hands behind his head. His Gryffindor tie was already tied loosely.

"No one says that," she replied, pure confusion on her face as Diane let out an undignified snort.

"Oh, I am so ready to bloody punch that bitch," growled Diane as she made her way across the snowy grass, her destination being the group of Slytherins near the frozen Black Lake. Peter came with her, nervously jogging behind.

"Alright, but don't get too carried away, Lynx, okay?"

"Yeah, yeah. Sure, Wormtail." He didn't believe that one bit; reciting all the healing spells he knew in his head, pulling his jumper tighter.
