After the nightmare that Filippo went through, he could not believe thathis wife was found dead. He asked the midwife about it. She only said that whenshe successfully delivered the baby she only left to urinate and when she cameback she saw Filippo screaming like an animal.
The midwife was arrested and Filippo was furious.
Filippo decided toseek an autopsy report and DNA because he could not identify it because theskin was not intact.
"My poor baby was chopped cruelly and my wife was skinnedalive for God's sake! I cannot believe it," Filippo cries.
After the result came out,
the DNA was not his wife and the baby turned out to be not his.
He realized that Desmond was suspicious at that time, but he ignores it because he trusted the man and Elia acts differently towards him too.
Filippo searched for his shotgun and stormed out of the hospitalfuriously.
That night when the baby was delivered, Elia was the one who killedthe baby because Desmond could not accept it. She killed her pregnant maid andmade it look like it was her. She ran away to find Desmond that night.
On the other hand,
Desmond was regretting not facing his responsibilities and decided to go back and find Elia,
but...
all he did see was the dress that Elia wore that night floating in the Navigli Canal Cruise. Desmond was in tears as he realized that his dream had all along been beloved Elia, which he had not realized earlier.
