When we finally broke from the hug, there was a knock at the door. It opened enough that the person who knocked could poke their head in. The person was Ven and when he saw me, the biggest smile appeared on his face. I giggled and smiled back.

"Hey Ven," I waved at him.

Y/n's POV

"Hey Y/n," Ven smiled and stepped into the room.

My mother and father stood, allowing me to move back to the top of the bed where I leaned back against my pillow again.

"We'll leave you two alone," father said. Mother smiled and nodded in agreement. They walked to the door and patted Ven's shoulder. Then they stepped outside the door where they shut it leaving Ven and I alone.

"How have you been?" I asked softly not wanting an awkward silence to take over the room.

"Worried and tired, but mostly worried. The others had me training in order to distract me, but every time I even looked at your door, I'd start crying. In fact, I..." Ven looked at his feet, his voice cracking.

"Ven..." I frowned and patted the spot beside me, "come here please."

He walked over slowly and sat beside me, but not looking at me. I guess he didn't want me to see him crying. I wrapped my arms around him with one hand in his hair, massaging his head gently to comfort him. I felt his arms wrap around me as he cried into my shoulder.

"I-I missed you so much...I was scared you weren't going to w-wake up...Y/n please don't leave me ever again even if you are unconscious..." he spoke softly, his voice cracking a little in areas.

"I won't. I promise," I kissed his head gently and continued to massage his head with my hand, knowing it would calm him down. When we would be training alone and he got upset because I won, I would sit behind him and massage his head gently with my fingers in his hair. It calmed him down so much that one time he fell asleep. I giggled at the memory which made Ven pull back from the hug and look at me.

"What are you giggling about?" He asked. My hands now rested near his elbows as I smiled.

"Just remembering something," I replied.

"Oh? And what is that something?"

"The time you fell asleep while I was massaging your head after training one day," I giggled again. He chuckled and shock his head.

"I barely remember it but I do remember it. We had been training alone on the hill while Terra and Aqua were in the castle with Master Eraqus doing something. You beat me so many times, that I got upset and sat on the ground pouting. That's when you came up and sat behind me before massaging my head," he smiled remembering.

"Yeah. You were supposed to be distracting me or vice versa from what the others were doing. I can't remember what it was," I said trying to remember.

"We were trying to fix a room up for you so you didn't have to sleep with Aqua forever," a voice came from the door. We looked and saw Terra and Aqua. I never heard the door open so  I didn't know they were there.

  "Oh yeah! It was maybe a month after you got your keyblade that you finally got your own room," Ven said.

   "Yeah and every time we were training they worked on the room which is why it took a month," I nodded remembering now.

  "You were so excited to find out we had spent all that time on a room just for you," Aqua smiled as she sat on the end of the bed. Terra stood at the end while Ven stayed next to me.

  All four of us chatted for what felt like hours before someone came knocking on the door to let us know food was ready. The others left me but promised they'd come back with their food and mine.

  I understood and looked out the window which Terra had opened for me before he left. I saw three little kids running down the dirt path laughing. I smiled watching them as I remembered what it was little to be so young and innocent.

   To think now I have seen so many things in just less than a year. It all started when I turned fourteen. When I first got my keyblade. After that, Ven and I would train with or without Terra and Aqua. We trained everyday for three months before everything started going down hill which happened in just a month.

  Now here I am, four months after everything happened and I'm unable to do things because I was unconscious for so long. I hope so they help me learn to walk again so that I might explore this new world and get back into training. Training to defeat Vanitas once and for all.
