The first thing I felt was the slow pulsating in my head, it was pulsating to the sound of an annoying high pitch beeping. Slowly I opened my eyes, everything was blurry at first causing me to blink fiercely trying to bring the world back into focus. The walls were a glaring white the ceiling tiles matched the walls. I turned my head to the beeping and that's when it hit me I was in the hospital. My thoughts raised as the thoughts set in, my parents are going to find out, they always find out and they are going to punish me. I had to get out before someone starts questioning me, I opened the door slightly peering around the door before heading straight for the exit.
As soon as I get out of the hospital into the cold rainy street, I looked down at my cracked watch, luckily school had not finished yet but it will soon, I needed to get a move on as it is about an hour's walk home.
I tried to get home as fast as I could but still ended up being late. "THIS IS THE SECOND TIME YOUR LATE" my father screamed at me as soon as I placed one foot on the entrance rug
My father dragged me up to my room by my hair and pushed me onto the wooden floor. He took off his belt repeatedly striking me, he ignored my pleads and screams and soon my vision was clouded with the tears rolling down my cheeks. I could feel the blood slowly oozing from the lashings. After what felt like hours he finally left me, all I wanted was death. I had been crying so hard only a few tears fell as the numbness spread around my body, all I wanted was death
