Veterans POV

I was feeling a little down today. I had lost the game and Player didn't participate, he had a cold. "Why can't I get Player out of my mind, he's only my friend, I can't be in love with my best friend." all these thoughts whirled through my head. I walked down the hallway to me and Player's room. I unlocked the door and saw Player laying on the couch with his computer in his lap, he seemed to be writing something. "Hey Player, feeling any better?" I asked him. "Oh hey Vet, yea a little bit," Player responded, I noticed a hint of a blush on his face as he shut his computer. "Are you ok, you seem to have a fever," I said as I walked over to Player and set my hand on his forehead "Yea Player, you have a fever, you should go to bed" I said. Player got up and staggered for a few steps. 

 Player's POV

I staggered and tripped. Veteran ran up to me and caught me. "Player, let me carry you, you really aren't well," said Veteran said with obvious worry in his voice. I was too weak to walk so I consented and he picked me up bridal style so as not to hurt me. I had a crush on Veteran so this was really sweet. Veteran set me in my bed and I pulled the blanket over me. Veteran took my temperature, it was a little high. "Do you want anything to eat or drink?" Veteran asked. "No thank you," I said as Veteran put a damp cloth on my forehead to cool my fever. "Alright, I'm gonna go talk to Engineer, you've had this cold for a week. I'm worried it's a Polis bug, those are not to be taken too lightly," Veteran walked off. I smiled and shut my eyes, but something was bothering me. "Does Veteran like me?" I wondered to myself. 

 Veterans POV

I walked into Med-bay and saw Gnome and Engineer smooching. "Sorry to interrupt, but im worried about Player, I think he has a Polis bug. I was wondering if Engineer had anything or could make something for that?" "Well actually I do have something for a Polis bug, but you have to tell me who you like if I'm gonna give it to you," said Engineer, with his bit of a lisp. I blushed fire red and said, "Fine, anything for Player. I like, uh, I like." "Come on, spit it out" exclaimed Gnome. "I like Player," I told them in a rather grumpy way. "Oooooh!" gushed Gnome "How sweet, does he know?" "No, not yet, just give me the medicine!" I half-shouted. "Alright, here you go, for your, sweetheart," said Engineer, as he handed me a small bottle. "Give Player one spoonful twice a day" I walked back down to me and Players room.

 Player's POV

I woke up when I heard the door slam, a few moments later Veteran walked in. "I got you some medicine, you start taking it tomorrow morning," said Veteran as he sat down on the end of my bed. "I have something to tell you something," Veteran said. "Yea?" I asked. "I like you more than a friend, Player," Veteran admitted. My jaw dropped and I said, "I do too." "Can-Can I kiss you?" asked Veteran. "Yea, but you might get my Polis bug," I responded as Veteran sat down beside me "Whatever," he said, as he pulled me close to him. My eyes widened as he pressed his lips to mine. We kissed for a few moments before I tried to gain access to his mouth. He granted my tongue access, and we explored each other's mouths. Veteran tasted a little like bubblegum, and he smelled a little like ax deodorant. Even though this was our first kiss, I loved kissing Veteran.

 Veterans POV

I was kissing Player, this was the best moment of my life. Our tongues started to battle and I put one arm around Players's waist and put my other hand on his head, he did the same. We traded salvia and rocked back and forth. Player didn't taste of much but I loved kissing him. We broke our kiss and smiled. "Wow! That felt super good" I said. "Yea, can we kiss again, Vet?" asked Player. "You don't have to ask me twice!" I exclaimed as we smooched again. "Mmmm" we both sighed as we traded salvia again and again. I coiled my tongue around Players. He broke his tongue free and tried to do the same but I was faster. I pinned his tongue and we broke our kiss. "Holy crap you have a strong tongue, Vet" Player exclaimed. "Aww, thanks" I responded "I love you" "I love you too," Player said. "Now you should get some sleep, all this excitement probably isn't good for your Polis bug," I told Player "Alright" Player said as he kissed me on the cheek, "good night!" "'Night, Player," I said and left him to sleep.

 Player's POV

As Veteran started to walk out I called to him "Hey Vet, when I'm over this Polis bug can we ask Captian for a couple bed?" "Yea, I will put in an order" answered Veteran. I fell asleep quickly and dreamed of Veteran. An alarm went off. We were all teleported to the cafeteria. Our spacesuits were equipped as we were teleported. There was a bit of a hubbub because everyone had been in bed and asleep. "My children need their sleep!" exclaimed Mother. "I KNOW THIS WAS UNCALLED FOR BUT THE OXYGEN IS DEPLETING FAST, IT IS AT 32%!" shouted Captain, he was holding Stoners hand. Stoner was coughing, and Gnome was out cold in Engineer's arms. "We need to fix this fast, Babe has asthma" he whimpered. Stoner collapsed into Captain's arms, and Captain said "I can't leave Stoner, and Engineer won't leave Gnome either." I felt really sick now, and Veteran noticed. "Player, you stay here and don't move at all. Moving will use up your oxygen quicker. The Polis bug affects your lungs, I can't have you running around." Veteran ran to find the source of the oxygen leak with PoopyFarts96, Mother, Bro, and Ninja. I passed out.

 Veterans POV

Ninja and Bro found the leak in the navigation window and called for the rest of us. I checked my tablet, the oxygen was down to 16%. Timmy ran in dragging a matter gun, which Ninja grabbed. "Everyone go, I fix" Ninja said. "Ninja, we do this together," Bro told him. Ninja proclaimed "No, I love you. I do not want you hurt" Ninja kissed Bro and ran to the leak with the matter gun. Oxygen was at 7% my vision was going fuzzy, I restrained Bro from running to Ninja. Mother helped me restrain him. Ninja fired the matter gun with perfect precision. The hole in the window fused shut. I blacked out. I woke up again, I was in Med-bay, Player was leaning over me. I sat up and said "Wha-What happened? Player are you ok?" "You blacked out when the oxygen dipped to 3%, but the hole is patched and you are ok. Well a few bruises and cuts, you have been out for a few hours. I woke up three hours ago." explained Player. I hugged Player and kissed him.

 Player's POV

Veteran and I kissed, oblivious to the fact everyone was watching us. Some of the others went "Awwwwww" and the rest simply said "Barf". Veteran and I broke our kiss, and Veteran said "Yes, we love each other." Money changed hands, Bro collected and gained about 50 bucks. "I told you losers, and you didn't believe me!" said Bro as he fist-bumped with Ninja. Ninja swooped him into a kiss. Me and Veteran took each other's hands and walked out of Med-bay.
