prompt : tommy went missing after getting lost in the forest. The sbi went to find him but when they finally found him ,
Philza gave his life to save him.

Tw : death , explosions , tnt , injuries. Panic attack. Fire. Swearing

"TOMMY" Phil yelled loudly , along with techno. God did he hate himself for letting Tommy go out all by himself. He knew it was a bad idea , why did he even let him go. Now his son was gone somewhere and he had no idea. Would he even find him again?

If it wasn't for him , Tommy would be here , in his arms , Safe. What kind of father was he for leaving his son to gather around in the forest , All alone.

[ earlier that morning. ]

"Hey Phil " Tommy exclaimed , his voice beamed with happiness. The blond jumped on his father, Hugging him tightly. The older hugged back , he positioned his son on his lap. "Hey mate! How's it doing today ? What's hyping you up " he cooed , giving the younger a smile. " oh nothing much " he replied , bouncing back onto the ground. Shuffling his feet around , he looked down. " Is there something you need , pal " Philza asked .

" I have to meet with Tubbo but I don't want to be ....escorted. I want to go by myself " he said sheepishly , rubbing a hand behind his neck . Phil frowned , taking time to process the request and that didn't take long before he got a response to that. " Tommy , you're too young plus and it's dangerous out there ! You can't go alone , someone has to come with yo-"

" No dad , no one's going to shoulder me this time! I'm not a child anymore , I'm seventeen! I can do stuff on my own and you clearly know that . So don't try to baby me , i have to grow up so please let me go by my FUCKING own. " he huffed out. Philza gave a saddening look , maybe his son grew up after all. He may have tried but in vain , he had to let go and leave his little bird out of the nest.

" you're right Tommy , you have the right to go all by yourself mate " he muttered softly , rubbing his neck at his turn. Next thing and he had his son attached to his torso , tightening his grip around him. " thank you! Thank you thank you, you won't regret this ! " he gushed happily , soon detaching himself from the older , rushing to the door as if the day was about to come to an end.

" I'll be careful, I swear ! "
" Stay near the path mate ! Please don't get lost " he sighed trailing off. A sudden wave of anxiety fleet through his veins. He had a fatherly gut feeling haunting him from his spine , tickling all the way up . He had a really bad feeling about his son all alone.
But he resigned himself to his seat , hoping for his son to get to the checkpoint. That's all he could do after all , nothing else but worry. Maybe he was too much of a doting father. Yeah maybe he was.
Tommy was going to be alright ! His son was a big man anyway .

The blond strode down the path , directed himself to l'manberg , the emplacement for his supposed meetup with his best friend. What his mind wasn't aware about yet was that it was a lure . Tubbo wasn't even conscious of their meetup , so who was he even heading to meet up with ? Not even halfway to lmanberg , he heard rustling coming from a bush near him . He turned around and stared at the moving plant.

Maybe it was Tubbo that wanted to surprise him so he got closer and closer until someone jumped on him and everything went dark.
