Isabella POV
I impatiently tapped on the steering wheel, bitting my lower lip as I stared at the rain drops sliding down my windshield. It was 8:30 in the morning and I was late for school, my first day of senior year, great. I sighed as I continued tapping my fingers on the steering wheel, damn traffic jams. I pulled down the sun shield to open up the little mirror inside it, I pulled my messy brown hair into a messy bun and applied some lipgloss onto my pink lips. I had woken up late this morning, rushing to my car barely brushing my teeth and washing my face. Looking at my rather warm, light honey eyes in the reflection in front of me, I shook my head, they were puffy. I shouldn't have stayed up that late last night finishing the book, now look at me. I was still in my grey sweatpants and an oversized hoodie from last night. What a way to start my senior year!
A car honking suddenly startled me and I looked ahead of me, realizing the car in front of me was already moving forward. I quickly stepped on the gas as I sped to my school. It was about 8:40 when I arrived at Redville High. I was only 10 minutes late! Thank god, I sped all the way to school and fortunately didn't get a ticket. My feet quickly carried me into the building, my hands hurriedly pulled out my phone to pull up my schedule online, when I bumped into someone hard. I was walking so fast that the impact had me falling back, I was waiting for my butt to hit the hard floor when I felt a hand circling my waist pulling me into the person's warm hard chest. I quickly opened my eyes and I was met with light blue eyes that were so light that it could've been mistaken as light grey from afar. I stayed in that position for a few seconds, stunned by his very well defined face with those beautiful eyes of his. His whole neck and arms were covered with tattoos. He looked really intimidating but damn he is hot as fuck!
"Watch where you're going next time, princess." I heard the man's husky and low voice whispered into my ear and that's when I snapped out of it and pushed him away from me. With wide eyes I tried to speak, "I-I'm so sorry. I-I uh really am, um so u-um, thanks? S-See you around hahaha." I continued to awkwardly stutter as I practically ran away from the man. See you around?! What was I thinking? I didn't even know him! Oh gosh, that was embarrassing, hopefully I never see him again.
