Blue always enjoyed spending the afternoon, well that's what Drista called it, in the sun out on the grass. The wind blew gently across his fur cooling him down when he got too hot. He had known Drista since he was a kitten so of course, he would know 'Human' language. Blue pushed his head farther into the grass as the sun shone down on him. He knew what he looked like based on the description Drista told him gray-blue with darker gray-blue splotches and a singular white paw, which he knew about, and a white ear. That was the only thing he could translate though everything else was human gibberish. Blue liked the name he gave Drista better than her name at least to him. He thinks she wouldn't like the name Ash based on her dark gray eyes. Sometimes he still calls her that. To say Blue hated change was an understatement he absolutely loathed it. So imagine his surprise when some loud tall human wandered out here. Drista seemed to be friends with him so Blue pushed back the idea of attacking the human. As long as he doesn't disturb him.

The heat dried the earth where Blue awoke at. Blue swiftly made his way to the ocean. The heated sand burning his paw pads as he waded into the undrinkable salty water. He liked the water, especially when it was as hot as it was today. Salty water filled his mouth as he fished a fish near his paws. In that instance, his ears strained to hear his name being called. The fish still in his mouth he trotted over to where the noise was coming from. A feeling of overwhelming fear scent hit his nose, dropping the fish he broke out in a run. It was Drista's. His mind racing he didn't think to wonder what was about to happen. Fire, bright flames, smoke, and ash left him blind and overwhelmed. Still, he didn't stop. He found the two visitors and Drista staring at the burning camp in fear. He pressed his face into Drista's leg to let her know he was there and safe.

Dry lightning lit up the dark night sky as the four traveled through this place called 'L'manburg' they were escorted by Smiley, a tall guy that looks like Drista but with a white mask covering his entire face with a smile, and a few others. The people escorting the group were making what seems to be aggressive remarks to the new blonde person. Blue didn't like that. Blue didn't like when people were unfair or rude to others for, what seems to be, no reason. Blue walked ahead of the group and the escorts, though Drista always called him back to her side. He thought it was weird that Drista and the one called 'Tommy' were wary of being here. Was this place bad? The ghost-looking one seems to find this place like it is a happy place. The fear scent of Tommy made Blue want to give him a reason to be scared but Blue resisted the urge. His claws unsheathed and sheathed as his tail flicked from side to side angrily. This place smells like burnt wood and rusting metal! How do people live here?! The area put Blue in high alert which he hated making him short-tempered and snappy. A cricket scampered in front of Blue paws and he immediately killed it with a flick of his claws. A hiss formed in his throat as he continued walking.

Finally, they made it to where they were supposed to be. His tail puffed up defensively. He hated it here, it stank of a fox. The fox scent just kept getting stronger and stronger. Claws unsheathed he waited for the sight of the fox. He hated how Smiley just kept on blabbing about something, he could only make out the words 'Angry', 'Disappointed', and 'Drista'. He didn't care to translate it even if he could. The air felt troubled. The dry lightning was still striking in the sky. The intensity of the fox scent got stronger. He had to hide or at least attack first. He shot forward ignoring Drista's calls. Claws still unsheathed he ran headfirst towards the fox scent. Creeping forward he found a fox. Somehow it was bigger than a normal fox and it stood on... two legs? Taken aback Blue tried to blend in with his surroundings. It was no use. Green, brown, orange, white, black. So many colors! Fear shot around like a tornado inside of him. Letting out a cry for help he scratched everything touching him. He heard a familiar voice and touch. Calming down immediately he opened his eyes. His attackers were a goat-human thing and the fox. He was now being held by Drista who whispered things to calm him down. He had accidentally scratched her. In his terror, he hadn't noticed who he was attacking.

Blue stood on Drista's shoulders as she explained what happened, well that is what he heard and cared to translate. He held himself very still as he observed everything around him. "You know that Tommy is" gibberish "Drista," Smiley said with an I-Told-You-This-Already voice. Blue resisted scratching off that smiling mask and nip Smiley in the ear. The word that Blue couldn't translate and didn't understand sounded like 'exile which in his language sounded like the word for 'Sent away or To be killed'. Blue didn't think they would kill the loud one. He thought it was unjust. The loud one kinda reminded him of one of his siblings, her name is Hope. That reminded him that there was always this thought in the back of his head saying where are your siblings even if he knew they were probably dead already. Blue couldn't stop the dreams of all three of them running free in a large field trying to get to their mother. It was more of a nightmare than a dream when he really thought about it.

Run! Quickly I can't leave her! I have to get to her and tell her everything I know before it is too late! I know it's a dream and not real but I have to get to her! Please I just need to tell her everything that has happened or...  or at least tell her I love her for the last time...
