Award Show

Award show started and Xue Rong barely managed to enter the hall in time. He had no chance to greet anybody, so he directly went towards his seat.

 Xue Rong's acting skill was very good, but his voice also gave him popularity. He sang title tracks for his many dramas and also released popular albums. 

For tonight's show, he was going to sing two songs. One with his co-star of previous drama and one individual song.  

His co-star, Li Jing, appeared on the stage first and her fans cheered for her loudly. She started to sing and after her lines, Xue Rong entered the stage while singing his lines. Even before he came out of dark background, his fans called out his name, just after hearing his voice. 

" Sometime in the past, you came into my life,

It was the greatest blessing, that god bestowed on me...." 

" Xue Rong..!! Xue Rong..!! I love You!"

 Entire hall filled with all kind of loud cheers. For few seconds, even Xue Rong's voice faded in that screams. But after that, all hall suddenly went silent. Fans decided to listen their male gods song first. It was not easy to hear his voice live after all!!

After that song, Li Jing retreated to back stage, giving her best wishes to Xue Rong for his next song. This song was from his album and was written by him.

Xue Rong closed his eyes and started to sing.

" I'm lucky to have you, I feel that's all I want.

I'm lucky, I was able to meet you, 

It is the great fate, I rejoice but fear,

I would not able to live on without you ♪♪..."

After this lines, he opened his eyes and shook his head with a big smile. This year also, all stadium turned into 'Blue Sea'. His favorite colour was blue, so his fans for last 5 years, turned every star award show into 'Blue Sea' with 'Rong' character. 

This sight was especially beautiful and bright. Xue Rong's fans used it to show him their support. Xue Rong's eyes turned moist after getting so much love for them. He closed his eyes for a moment to control his emotions and opened them before singing next lines.

Suddenly, one day, 

I met you on a rainy day,

No wonder I say, 

'I'm feeling happy', seeing gloomy sky ♪♪......

Drop by drop, I turned wet,

'My heart is warm', I only felt, 

Our eyes met at this moment ♪♪.....

Step by step, you came closer,

'Are you alright?' you inquire, 

Smile on lips, my most honest answer ♪♪....

It was this day, when I met you,

I'm grateful, I didn't missed you, 

On another rainy day, I kissed you,

How can I say, I don't like rainy days? ♪♪.....

I'm lucky to have you, I know that's all I want,

I'm lucky, I was able to met you,

It is my great fate, I rejoice & say,

' I don't want to live on without you'♪♪...."

Song ended here and literally for straight 2 minutes, Xue Rong's fan shouted with excitement.

' Xue Rong Gege, you are the best!! We love you so much!!',  ' Rong Gege, your voice is best, Jiayo..!!' , ' Xue Rong, Xue Rong!!'

Xue Rong smiled at them and deeply bowed towards his all fans. They gave him their support unconditionally for the last 5 years. They never stopped it, even when he got caught in some controversies. They believed him wholeheartedly. So, he really was very thankful for their company through his hard times. 

That night, Xue Rong got 4 prestigious awards. Best actor, Weibo King, VIP actor and last for best song of the year. The one that he performed on stage. 

Xue Rong left at 12:30 am. He already massaged his assistant about his appearance here, so he came to pick him. Xue Rong entered his car.

" What's wrong with you today? Once you said, you are not going, then you suddenly appeared here without informing anyone! And what's with this suit? Where you got ready and what about your makeup?" His assistant bombard all questions on him at the same time.

" Relax! This suit is not mine, I just borrowed it for this show. As for makeup, new investor arranged it for me, as there was no time to reach studio. Don't ask too many questions, I need some rest." 

Xue Rong was not planning on giving him all information about today. If he found that Xue Rong entered a girls house and they were alone, he will definitely lecture him for it at least one month. Rumors can easily become facts and cause serious problems in this profession.

Xue Rong took out his cellphone. He thought about writing a massage to Jane, to ask if she liked his performance today, but he realized, he don't have her number. When this thought crossed his mind, he was surprised for a moment. Only in a day, he was feeling close to Jane. But it was mostly because today's dramatic situation. Jane helped him twice and he overcome two disasters in a single day.

He put down his phone and looked out of window. ' I was lucky today. Ohh, it started to rain!!'
