Walking Beside You

" Don't go out alone at night like this in future, it's not safe." Yu Tian, who was walking in steady pace, holding Jane's hand, said.

" Ahh, yeah." Today, Jane's all thoughts about his personality were in turmoil. ' He is the one who is rumored to be a poker face, cold, and ' don't approach' to strangers?' 

" You are looking uncomfortable. I'm making you uneasy?" He noticed something was wrong.

" No, no! It's just that, you are quite different from my imagination. You are known as a very reserved person, who never approach strangers or talk comfortably with them, so I'm just surprised after meeting you." Jane explained him.

" Well, that's not a lie. I'm actually like that. You'll know it during first few days of shoot. I need time to adjust with crew." Yu Tian said while looking towards her.

' Then why are you so close and friendly towards me?' Jane had this question in mind but she held back. This question will surely turn the whole situation awkward.

" What are your future plan's Jane?" He asked her.

" Investing in dramas, working as director and if possible, write some novels." Jane answered randomly.

" You'll definitely do this in future. Jane,....let's be friends." Out of blue, he said to her.

" Ahh, ohh, yes!! Why not! I'm happy that you see me as your friend on our first meeting." Jane started to feel like she was dreaming. There was no way that Yu Tian was this talkative with the person he just met.

" Good. Give me your phone." He asked her.

" Ohh, take it." Jane gave it without thinking.

Yu Tian took it and called on his number. Then he returned her phone and saved her number.

" Save my number, in future, call me whenever you want." He said to her with a smile.

' Not only when I need him, but whenever I want?' Jane looked at him strangely. He ignored her stare.

After nearly 45 minutes of walk, they reached near the building. In that time, it was Yu Tian who talked more and at the end, Jane also completely accepted his different nature. 

" Give me director Li's phone. I've something to talk with him. So you can go to rest." He took phone from her and was about to walk away.

" Tian!! Be careful..." Jane suddenly pulled him back. Yu Tian didn't even looked at pieces of glass on ground. He stared at her strongly and asked.

" You called me as?" 

" Ohh, sorry! I know...."

" You called me 'Tian', right?" He asked again.

" Yeah, sorry." Jane's voice dropped a little.

" You can call me that in future. Thanks for your help just now. Don't wander around now, go to your room." His response was out of her expectations.

" Okay, I'll go right now! Th.. thanks!" Jane turned around to leave but Yu Tian suddenly grabbed her hand.

" Wh...what?" Jane was holding onto her last piece of sanity. She needed to be alone for sometime. 

" Goodnight." Yu Tian smiled at her.

' This smile will give me a heart attack today! Don't smile at me!!' Jane screamed internally.

" Good Night! Bye bye!" She said hurriedly and left.

Yu Tians again smiled, looking at her till she was not in his eye range. 

" Your phone." He handed Mr. Li's phone to him.

" Why you wanted to meet her alone at this time? Something is very fishy!" Director Li, who just helped him in this whole scheme asked.

" You'll know in future. Thank you for help." Yu Tian answered vaguely and left his office.

" This arrogant bastard!!" Director Li shook his head and smiled.

" Jane! " Suddenly someone called her name.

" Ahh, Sean! Why are you here?" Jane asked him.

" To fill my empty bottle. You want to eat something?" Xue Rong asked her.

" No, I'm also here to take one bottle. How was your shooting after 3?" Jane asked him.

" It was good. Yu Tian joined us from today. You was not there, but whole crew members just shocked after seeing him. I was also very surprised. I'm happy that he is acting in this drama." Xue Rong talked little more this time. He still remembered the fun he had with Yu Tian in their previous drama.

" Yeah, I just met him. He is really different from my imagination." Jane expressed her feeling.

" Don't take it to your heart. He is like that towards every new person. After few days, he will act normal around you. He was like that towards me also! Poker face with cold aura...haha!! I still laugh hard when I remember that time!" He tried to sooth her. He was very familiar with girls reactions after meeting Yu Tian first time. 

' But it was not what happened to me!! ' Jane said in her mind.

" You are right. Let's return to our rooms then, Good Night!" Jane was not in mood to talk right now. After realizing that she was in love with Yu Tian, she needed some time to freely face Xue Rong. 

" Good Night!" Xue Rong also left after her. He was now more and more comfortable around her. Jane was like a good friend to him.

' What's wrong with me!! Why I'm being like this? Just before a second I met Tian, I was so sure that I was in love with Sean, but now, all I could think is Tian!! Why? Just why!!!!' 

Jane was about to go crazy by this thoughts, she was in total mess of her feelings. It was hard to determine that if she even really loved anyone in her life.

Firstly, she dated Simon, but it was due to he confessed to her and all friends suggested that she should date him. He was perfect for her. But just after a month, she was transferred to another city for education. Although they were still in contact for a long time, they both knew that their relationship is dead.

Xue Rong, for whom, she even left her country and did all things that were possible for her. But this love turned into a false imagination when she met Yu Tian. Just where did it gone wrong!!!!

Jane was shocked after seeing her unfaithful feelings of love. ' Am I going after pretty faces? That's why I'm falling in love with different people and suddenly stopping it when I meet new one?' Jane even started to question her character. 

She was sitting on her bed, her head was on her knees. Self blame was on incredible heights. 

' Just why this is happening to me?? What to do now? I really need some help!!' Jane was unable to understand her feelings. After previous two wrong alarms, she was afraid to believe that she actually loved Yu Tian. For her, it was okay even if other person never responded to her love, but she was not okay with the thought that her heart was unfaithful.

' I'll not accept that I'm in love with him, unless I'm 100% sure about it.' Jane determined this before falling in sleep sometime in late night.

Authors Notes :

This story actually gonna connect in future with my other novel, 'The Revenger'. That story is on hold, but I'm planning on continuing it after my exam.
