...but things seem like they were about to happen

Lisa shivered slightly, feeling Jennie's breath tickle under her ear. Giggled a little when she felt Jennie push her nose further into her hair and nuzzle in, breathing deep.

"Baby, you smell so good." Jennie planted a soft kiss there, one hand coming up to scratch at the other side of Lisa's hair.

The older girl chuckled, stretching her arms out before wrapping them back around Jennie's waist. Jennie really seemed to like to scratch her head. It kind of made Lisa feel like a puppy. She sighed happily when Jennie's hand scratched behind her ear. She felt Jennie grin against her skin, "You like that, baby?"

Lisa may have whimpered a little bit in agreement.

Like a puppy.

Maybe.

She blushed bright red when she realized the sound had escaped her mouth.

Crap.

She tried to squirm out of her hold, but Jennie wasn't having any of it. She tightened her leg around Lisa and pressed her back onto the bed, snuggling closer and cooing into her ear, "Mmmmm my Lili likes this, don't you?"

And Lisa couldn't help but whine again in response. She figured it was worth the embarrassment though, because Jennie laughed low into her ear and kept scratching.

They stayed like that for a while, until Lisa sighed and shifted a little under Jennie, "I'm sorry Nini, but I gotta go have lunch with Jisoo and Seulgi."

It was a tradition they started in their first year in university. Jisoo called it de-briefing. Seulgi called it juicy details time. Right now Lisa called it a huge inconvenience. But, Lisa thought as Jennie rolled off her, it was a tradition, and she did want to talk to them.

"Okay Lili, go see your friends." Jennie pecked her on the lips before slipping out of bed and making her way to the bathroom. Lisa propped her head up to enjoy the view.

"Stop staring and get dressed." Jennie didn't even have to turn around to know that Lisa's eyes were glued to her body.

Lisa dropped Jennie off at her place before heading over to the diner to meet Jisoo and Seulgi.

When she slid into the bench across from them, Seulgi cut to the chase right away, "So?"

Lisa shrugged, rubbing the back of her head and grinning lopsidedly, "So what?" She never felt this shy about sharing details before.

Jisoo laughed, "Look at this kid. It must've been really amazing to make you look this idiotic."

Lisa narrowed her eyes at her from across the table, but it just made her laugh harder. "Oh come on, Lis, we all know that look."

The older girl relented. It was true; she couldn't wipe the grin off her face. "She's...she's amazing guys." She gave them a rundown of her night while they waited for their food, but left out most of the details. Jennie wasn't any other girl; she didn't want to share all the intimate details of their first time together with anyone, even if it was her best friends.

Their orders arrived several minutes later with a waitress that Lisa didn't recognize. They'd been frequenting this diner for years, so they knew most of the staff by name and vice versa. When the girl had left to go tend the other tables Lisa asked, "Who's that? Never seen her before..."

Jisoo wagged her finger at her and took a bite from her burger, "Don't change the subject, you giant. Answer the question."

Seulgi nodded, "Come on, Lisa. I told you guys when it was that tall painter guy!"
