Durk's POV
"DEMIR?!"

"Dad!!!"

"DEMIR!!!!!!!!" I screamed and he took off running towards me and jumped in my arms

I swung him around in the air and almost dropped his little ass because this shit is unreal

"Dad?" Aurora said wiping tears off her face as her dad walked towards us now

This shit ain't makin sense and I ain't even ever met Aurora's dad

Everyone was crowding around us now and I needed some fuckin space

"Demir what the fuck happened? You know we thought you was dead little man" I said sternly putting him down and dropping to his level

"After that crazy lady took me I jumped out the car and run away.......I ended up running into my grandpa cuz he was walking down the street too"

"That's your grandpa son?"

"Mhm ask mommy, we met him once with uncle"

"Shit....like father like son huh? You know daddy tried his best to save you right?"

"Mhm, I'm glad grandpa find me because I didn't know how to get back"

"We would've found you son, we would've found you"

Aurora's POV
"How did you find him?"

"Well I had just got released from the halfway house and was walking down the street because I ain't have nowhere to go, no fucking phone to call nobody or nothin...I saw this young man walking towards me and couldn't help but remember him"

"Wow..........you have no clue how happy this makes me...I wasn't able to live a normal life anymore after knowing I was the reason he was kidnapped and what I thought dead...."

"Yeah he wouldn't stop talking my damn ear off about finding y'all, that little nigga bit me too...I ain't have money to feed em or nothin, I know his young ass starving"

There was a huge crowd around us now but my only focus was Demir, my favorite person in the world

I walked over to him and Durk stating "so you run to your dad first and not your mom huh?"

"Sorry mommy" he said jumping into my arms

I held him tightly and rubbed my fingers through his little braids gently

"Demir...you know my life would've never been the same without you? Your dad and I did everything we possibly could to save you..."

"I know mommy, dad told me"

"I'll never let anything bad happen to you again okay?" I said kissing the top of his forehead

My dad and Von both walked up behind me and Von took off running with Demir to get him some food screaming "THE FUCKIN FUNERAL TURNED INTO A DAMN PARTY, WE LIT ON FOENEM!!!!!"

"So how did you find us or even get here?"

"We walked in a gas station and someone recognized him, we said we was tryna find y'all and they showed us a screenshot of his funeral invitation but thankfully little man didn't even know what a funeral was"

So Nikki posting it actually did some justice I thought to myself as I realized she disappeared

I'll address Durk more about that later or maybe I'll just let it go sense Demir is back

I really don't have anytime for more negativity in my life

"Well.....that shouldn't have been online but that's another story, I'm glad you found us........by the way this is my husband Durk and Durk this is my dad Marcus"

"Aye how you doin" Durk said extending his hand and they did a firm shake

"Demir told me a whole lot about yo ass" my dad said and we all let out a slight chuckle

"I'm sure he did" Durk replied

"You know...you said you didn't have anywhere to stay..........you could live with us for the time being"

"Damn really I thought y'all would never ask a nigga"

There was no loud music blasting and everyone was taking pictures and videos with Demir

It was one of Durk's new songs on repeat that always gets stuck in my head

"Aye Demir come here" Durk said as he quickly ran over to us

"Yes?"

"You eat?"

"Yup"

"You tell yo grandpa thank you"

"Mhm"

"Well we gon get y'all home, he gon be staying wit us for awhile"

"Mommy's house or your house?"

"Our house, we all gon be living together again"

"YAYYYYYYYYY"

"We have to get you enrolled in school again Demir" I said grabbing one of his hands as Durk grabbed the other one

"I miss school and basketball and ice creammmmm, can we get some before home how we used to?"

"Maybe......but we are gonna get home so you guys can shower and granddad can get comfortable"

We started walking towards the car and I was glad we were able to escape without having to talk to anyone

There's quite a few people that showed up for me like Lucas that I wanted to talk to more but tonight is not the night...
