chpt 14: outing

[third person pov]

Minju raced to the school gate, knowing she made her friends wait for too long. It was close to 30 minutes when she left to search for her wallet.

"sorry it took so long" Minju panted

"its fine lets go now" Chaeryeong said smiling.

along the way to their favourite ramen noodle store, they talked about what they did during the weekends. Minju ended up explaining what happened. Although it started off gloomy, they ended up reaching the store all chaotic.

The three girls ordered and took a seat at the corner of the store. They laughed and talked, spilling all the tea they wanted to share.

"HEY, wanna go karaoke?" yena asked slurping her last strand of noodle, expecting for the right answer.

"LETS GOOOOOO" minju exclaimed, having so much fun after 2 long days.

The karaoke place was two blocks away, and beside it was a soccer stadium. The perfect place for catching glimpse of hot guys, though it always ended up with a failure.

Before entering the room they had booked, they took one last glimpse of the soccer field. Scanning for potential guys.

"its hopeless girls, the guys in the neighbourhood just suck" Chaeryeong shrugged

Minju and Yena laughed, and started to walk to their room.

After an hour of singing and laughing. the girls were exhausted.

"we have another hour to go we cant waste our money" Yena explained

"Yena im EXHAUSTED, im going to the toilet be right back" Minju strudded to the ladies.

"i'll get a drink for myself" Minju thought to herself.

She got out of the ladies toilet and proceeded to the vending machine.

She took out her wallet and inserted the coin, Minju tiptoed to press the button at the very top to get her favourite drink 'iced lemon tea'.

Just inches away from the button, she felt a presence behind her.

"this?" they said
