chpt 5: cafe

[third person pov]

the bell that rang initiated the end of the last period for the day. which meant their fake date at the cafe would start soon.

minju packed her things slowly as she usually did and walked out with both her best friends, yena and chaeryeong. stopping at the hallway of their classroom.

"i have something on today, you girls go ahead" minju said not giving it a second thought

"hmm? ah okay sure, lets go together tomorrow then" yena said as she sucked on her lolipop making sure that she doesnt make minju uncomfortable by asking why

"yeah, see you tomorrow. i'll text you both okay?" minju said adoring her friends as they respected her decision to not walk with them for the day.

"we'll go first, stay safe minju. ask your brother to come get you if it gets too dark okay?" chaeryeong said with concern as she bid goodbye to her bestfriend

[minju pov]

where is he? lets just walk out of the gate first and see if he's there

"oh u finally came out" a voice from the side of the gate petruded into my ear which gave me shivers, thinking it was one of the crazy fans.

I looked up and saw that it was sunwoo, i sighed with relief.

"u scared me.. and didnt i tell you, you didnt have to come get me?" i said slapping his hand away, and soon after regretting that.

"whatever" sunwoo said as he gave me a death glare from the slap.

not long after, he grabbed my small hand and intertwined his fingers with mine. i looked at him confused and tried getting my hand out of the mess but didnt work.

"hey why–"

"just put up with the act will you?" he cut her lines and explained.

[third person pov]

after walking for a while, both individual had finally arrived to their destination. randomly sitting on a 2-person seat, minju stood up.

"what do you want? i'll order for you" minju said as she turned back to look at sunwoo whom showed a shocked expression.

"what...?"

"nothing, i want the salted caramel frappe" sunwoos mouth drooling from his eagerness over his favourite drink.

"how.. weird" she walked away, towards the counter.

having ordered the drinks and walking back to her seat and waiting for their order to come. a slender young man with blonde hair came to their table and plopped both drinks on their table.

"thank you so much !" minju said cheerfully as she locked eye contact with the attractive waiter, making him blush red.

"wow" minju muttered to herself, not knowing sunwoo was able to hear her.

a/n: well i do realise my chapters are short but THAT JUST MAKES IT MORE FUN FOR THE READERS EH??
