NEW ORLEANS WAS a city Alexis had always wanted to visit but never had the guts to. The people called it the Big Easy or the Crescent city, they said people came here in search through the streets for music, dancers, magicians or whatever form of entertainment they could find.
It was a city with a force to reckon with.
A city with ancient history that very few knew of. Everyone in the werewolf world often spoke about how they were not welcomed in—so she never really planned on coming here.
Now Alexis wished she had as she walked through the French Quarter in search of the bar her friend had pointed her to. She looked around the buzzing city, the people chatting and laughing loudly as they drank and danced through the streets—and it was only noon.
As the letter sign that read Rosseau's came into view, Alexis smiled in relief, it had taken her five blocks to find the damn bar, five blocks she had to walk in heels because the streets were filled with people and she couldn't drive through. Stepping inside the bar, that oddly reminded her of Red's back home, she leaned over the bar top, catching the attention of a pretty blonde who's name tag read Camille.
