The Weiss household was usually filled with a calm environment, that's how Renée Weiss liked it. Clean, relaxed and filled with joy. She was raising a child on her own and when that child had a werewolf gene running through her veins...well, the job could become tricky.

Alexis Weiss did ballet since she was eight years old. She had fallen in love with the art of ballet when her little friend from school took her to one of her shows. She believed it to be beautiful and romantic. And now, five years later, she had become slightly obsessed with making it her lifestyle.

Renée always feared that her daughter would become this stressful young woman with an obsession to be perfect like every other ballerina. Perfect weight. Perfect coordination. Typical ballerina stereotype. But for now, she seemed to have it under control.

She always told her daughter: you need to have patience. Not everything turns out how one would like it to be.

Tonight, she had to implement that more than ever into her daughter's desperate for control mind. Alexis was recovering from a terrible fall that costed her a sprained ankle. It was hard on her, mostly knowing that they had a very important show coming ahead. The doctor said she would have to use a cast for a whole month—the cast had been taken off just today. And the young girl had been insisting all the way home that she was ready to go back to class and prepare herself for Saturday.
