3rd Person POV

"huh?"

'who's that?'

"a new sibling?"

'she looks sooooo cute!'

"she's not a baby??"

These were just a few out of the many things that were said or thought by the Grace Field children upon seeing Y/n, standing next to their Mother in the front of the dining room.

"Everyone, this is your new sibling. Would you like to introduce yourself Y/n?" Isabella asked, everyone now staring at the said girl.

"Sure. Hi everyone, I'm your new sibling Y/n, as you've already heard from Mama. I am 5 years old and I hope we can all get along!"
Y/n said as enthusiastically as she could even though she could feel her eyes drooping.

"Oh, I'm so sorry Y/n. I know the journey here was long. Can someone please show Y/n around the house and the way to the bedroom? The rest of you can stay here and continue cleaning. You'll have all the time in the world tomorrow to get to know your new sibling Y/n and play tag." Isabella said to everyone.

A brown-haired girl with forest green eyes raised her hand in the crowd of kids. She was definitely older then Y/n. She had a warm smile on her face. "I can show her the way Mama!" the girl shouted out amongst everyone trying to argue over who was going to take the girl.

She walked to the front as Mama waved her over. "Okay then Amelia."

The dining room echoed with groans and sighs. "Amelia always gets to do it!" one boy rang out.

Y/n watched all of this with an amused look on her face before turning to the taller girl beside her.

Amelia noticed this and asks her, "Shall we get going?"

Y/N's POV

"And this is the room that you are going to be sharing with our siblings. This is your bed!" Amelia opened her arms wide, presenting the room. All the beds and nightstands were identical. Amelia pointed to my bed that was neatly made.

It looked exactly like the other ones. It had an orange blanket and a plush looking pillow. I couldn't wait to go to sleep. The bed looked so cozy and warm.

"Thank you Amelia, I really appreciate it. Let's hope I don't get lost in the house tomorrow morning." I say scratching my nape with a sheepish smile on my face.

"No problem. If you need help, you can just ask me. You won't have any trouble finding me. After all, I do share the same room with you."

I sigh with relief. "Oh, well that puts my mind at ease. Thanks again Amelia." I thanked her with a grateful smile on my face.

"Don't mention it. I'll leave you alone for now so you can unpack. I still need to go back downstairs to help everyone else clean. I hope you can adjust well to the new environment and everything." She said with a bright smile before leaving the bedroom and closing the door behind her.

I yawned as I set down my briefcase next to my nightstand, deciding to just unpack tomorrow morning. Hopefully none of the kids decide to look inside.

"Shoot. I forgot to check the kids' files with Isabella. I'll just do it tomorrow morning as well. I'll be sure to wake up extra early." I mumbled to myself before taking off my jacket and putting it on my nightstand.

Without changing, I collapsed on my new bed, melting into the mattress. As I ran through my schedule set for tomorrow in my head, I slowly nodded off.
