3rd Person POV

"Do you think she's awake yet?"

"She must've not heard the clock go off..."

"She didn't even change her clothes last night."

The said child furrowed her eyebrows and clenched her shut eyes even tighter at all the ruckus they were making so early in the morning.

'Why must they be so loud this early in the morning?', she thought, pretending to still be asleep to see what else the other children would say about her.

"Look, she's drooling! Hehe."

Wait.....

Y/n shot her eyes open and sat up straight in her bed, her hand flying to her cheek, feeling the wet substance there.

Unbeknownst to her, the kids surrounded around her bed all flinched at her sudden awakening, startled that they had woken her up when they all thought they were being so quiet.

They couldn't have been more wrong.

Both parties stared at each other, Y/n letting out an awkward chuckle before wiping her cheek with her sleeve, ridding it of the drool.

Having realized their staring and rudeness, all the kids quickly put their biggest smiles on their faces and chimed out, "Good morning!", in perfect unison.

Y/n mustered up a big smile of her own, trying to forget the weird moment that just happened. "Ah, good morning everyone!"

~~~~~~
After having changed into a simple white button-up shirt and white skirt, two kids that looked around your age took you by the hands and guided you downstairs, towards the dining room.
The girl on your right had striking, sky blue eyes and wavy, shoulder length hair. The boy on your left wore glasses, had light brown eyes, and well-kept, dirty blonde hair.
Both had light smiles on their faces and were walking towards what you assumed was the dining room.
The girl looked at you still keeping that smile, "Hi, my name is Luna and his name is Julian!", she says while pointing toward the boy holding onto your left hand. He seemed very focused, keeping his gaze ahead of him, with his grip on your hand light.
You all continued walking, turning through halls when the girl who called herself Luna, nudged Julian in his side. "Say something!" she whisper shouted.
"Why'd you put me up to this?! You could've asked Willow..." the boy whispers back a bit agitated with the ravenette, but a pink tint on his face.
Now that you notice it, his hands were a bit sweaty.
'Is he nervous? Why?'
You stop walking, pull your own hands away and put them behind your back. They both turn to you, confused.
"I appreciate it, but I can walk just fine on my own. I'm not a baby you know." I tell the two kids in front of me.
Luna pipes up, "Ah! Sorry, I was just so excited to see you."
Julian speaks from the left, hands in his pockets, looking at the ground, "She roped me into this, I didn't want to be here."
"Julian! Be nice! Sorry about him." Luna apologizes with a sheepish smile on her face.
"It's alright." you responded.
"Whatever. Let's get going, the others have been dying to meet you." Julian muttered before walking off on his own.
You watch as he walks off before asking, "Dying to see me? Why are they so excited to see me?"
Luna starts walking, with you following after her, before explaining, "Normally kids who arrive at this orphanage are babies. You're probably the first one to arrive already 'grown.'"
"Oh." You say nodding your head. Makes sense.
You two finally arrive at the lively dining room. Standing in the doorway with Luna, you see 3 long tables that were set up with more chairs than you could count. All the kids present were running around, helping set up the cutlery, plates, bowls, cups and anything else that was needed to eat. It seemed a bit chaotic, but everyone was either laughing or had a smile on their face.
You stare at the beautiful scenery in awe because back home, the only person you had was Peter. And Peter rarely ever smiled, so this was a sight to see.
All the kids were finished setting up and everyone was finding their seats. A bell rings, calling all the other children wherever they were, and alerting them that breakfast was now ready.
Luna grabbed onto your hand, pulling you back to reality and she guides you to sit at the middle table, right next to her.
Isabella or as you now call her 'Mama' sat at the head of the middle table. Her eyes scan  around the dining room, seemingly looking for someone or something, until she locks eyes with you. She smiles then turns towards everyone else.
"We're right on time." you hear her say.
Everyone then clasps their hands together and closes their eyes. Realizing this was routine, you do the same.
"Thank you for the food!", everyone rings out.
"Thank you for the food." You whisper to yourself eyes closed with a smile on your face.
OMFG I FINALLY FINISHED ANOTHER CHAPTER.
I was motivated to get this one done actually because I start school tomorrow. :( I won't say what grade but I'm in high school.
This chapter is longer than the other ones though. Like almost 1,000 words. Which makes me happy.
I probably won't be updating often, (it's not like I ever did) but who knows. Maybe my procrastination with my homework will get me to write some chapters.
Anyways thank you for the continued support! I'm so so so thankful. You all are amazing.❤️
(I will edit this chapter later. I just wanted to get this chapter out for you all.)
