They set the plan in motion. Ben and Hook went to the doll area to try to attract Adrian. Piggy and Chelsea went to the kitchen with some Halloween decorations. Finally, Jib, Jab, Elly and Lily put the final touches on the items in the kitchen. BoPeep and Guillaume climbed on top of the microwave. From there, they could see everything and give signals to the rest of the team.

Ben was a little scared. "What if he captures me and eats my blood for real? I don't want to become a ghost or anything."

Hook gave Ben a whistle. "This is a mega whistle. It protects all boys from vampires and evil creatures."

"Really? That's perfect! It will keep me safe," Ben put it around his neck.

He waited on a bench until the clock struck three. Hook gave the signal, "go for it, Ben!" Ben made his way over to the wicked vampire, Adrian Favre.

"Hello, are you Adrian Favre?"

The vampire turned his red-eyes toward Ben. "Oh, why, yes, I am," The vampire bowed low, "why do you ask, my sweet, sweet child." The way the vampire said "sweet" made Ben shudder.

"Well, I found your doll in the kitchen. Did you lose a toy soldier before?"

"Why, yes, yes I did. Yes I did indeed."

"Well, would you like me to give him to you?"

"Oh yes, yes I would. Yes, that would be WONderful."

"Ok good, because this doll really has caused me some problems. Can you believe it tried to capture my blood?"

"Oh no, no, no that would not be a WONderful thing for a doll to do. I will have to fix that doll for you. It must be broken. Yes, so broken."

Ben led the vampire into the kitchen. There he saw a strange sight! In front of the mirror was pigging making what looked to be blood bread.

The vampire broke into a rhyme.

Oh, my! What foul and filthy bread!

Why is it so red?

Is it savory? Is it sweet?

Is it something good to eat?

He whistled as he approached the mirror, not able to see his own reflection. At this moment, Guillaume and BoPeep signaled to Ben and Hook. They tried to make a distraction to attract the vampires attention.

"Hey, Adrian! What's that song you are singing?" Ben asked.

"Yeah, it's a catch little diddy!" Hook said.

"Song? I am not singing a song?" The vampire said as he continued to sing!

Blood of my blood, moon of my moon.

What kind of thing is this bread?

Why is this thing of bread so red?

I want some red bread, oh so very soon

Oh my, we can eat this bread under a bright red moon!

"Do you want to see the doll?" Hook said.

"Or the blood it took from me?" Ben asked.

"Oh my, blood? Do you still have it?" Adrian asked.

"Yes, it's in the fridge," explained Ben.

The vampire turned to look at the fridge, and that's why Jib, Jab and the others performed the "old switcheroo". The mirror spun the other way, and now instead of a reflection of some tiny red bread, in its place was some serious garlic bread, dyed with red food coloring.

Ben opened the fridge. "Huh, it's gone," he said while he pretended to look in the fridge for the blood.

"It must have been put into that red bread over there!" Hook pretended to be surprised.

The vampire turned back to the bread and was practically drooling on himself.

Time to eat! Time to eat!

What a treat! What a treat!

Lovely lovely red red

Yummy yummy bread bread!

Oh so sweet! Time to eat!

Adrian grabbed the garlic bread and took a HUGE bite of it. He had practically the entire thing in his mouth. He began to cough.

Not so sweet! Not a treat!

Garlic and poison!

My insides are frozen!

Not a treat. Not so sweet.

Now I melt. Not a ...

Adrian was never able to finish his last line. He had almost completely melted by that point.

After he had completely melted, the group shouted, "YES!!" They high fived and danced. Elly went to Chelsea but she was surprised. Chelsea was lying on the floor, completely still. Her doll's smile didn't move. Her bright green eyes stared at her like she was dead.

"Oh no!" She cried. "Chelsea!"

"BoPeep's not moving either!" Hook said, picking her doll up.

"Guillaumes not moving as well!" Jab said in a panic.

"PIGGY!!" Ben was shouting. "No! I need his food!" He was crying.

"I think their magic ran out!" Lily said. "You know, since Adrian died?"

"Wait, Chelsea is a pull-string doll. So now she only talks when I pull her string?" Elly asked. She pulled Chelsea's string. Chelsea quietly said, "After all, tomorrow is another day."

Elly burst into tears. Hook tried to make her happy. "Well, at least there's no Adrian chasing after our toys. We can keep them."

"I guess," Elly said. Everyone on the floor crying stood up. They got ready to go.
