1:30 p.m.Jada smiled as the first song from her old school playlist. It was Mary Jane by Rick James this song was definitely in her top ten old school songs that she could bump to all the time.
"Do you love me Mary Jane." Jada sang as she listened to it through her earphones. She laid back on her bed and closed her eyes imagining things that the song brought to her. She had a smile on her face as she listened to the song play out but was interrupted when she felt a pillow smack on her face bringing her back to reality.
"Hoe get up" Rosie told her as Jada stared at her. "How the hell did you get in here?" Rosie sat down on the front edge of Jada's bed. "Well yo momma let me in so yeah." Rosie got comfortable on Jada's bed causing Jada to mug her. "Who said I wanted you here tho?"
Rosie looked at her and rolled her eyes, "I come over when I want to, you don't dictate my decisions."
"Yeah but I make sure your wild ass don't make poor decisions." Rosie nodded her head as if agreeing before turning her back to Jada in the bed facing the wall and getting on her phone. Jada did the same and instantly got bored. "Bitch lets go outside."
"Bitch when we go outside it better be for a party. Like are you forgetting hot girl summer or?" Jada looked at her and rolled her eyes knowing that in order to go to a party they had to have known some people in this neighborhood. "Bitch we don't know nobody in this neighborhood thats throwing a damn party."
"You don't know nobody but I do and with my connections I got us into Summer house party free of charge." Rosie stuck her tongue out while Jada grew a smile on her face before she beginning to dance in her spot while Rosie did the same. "Bitch we finna be turnt!" Rosie yelled.
"Wait do you think we should invite Maurice?" Jada felt as if it would be rude to not invite him since they had all met and she definitely didn't want him to be cooped up in this house all summer especially if he was in Memphis cause then he'd think things were more boring than they already were. Rosie shrugged, "It really don't matter to me cause I'm going wether he come or not." Jada rolled her eyes at Rosie before getting out the bed and going to her closet to search for some shoes.
"Girl get up we finna go knock on Maurice door" Jada yelled from the closet causing Rosie to start pouting not wanting to get out of the bed. She still got up taking her precious time, she was going so slow that by the time she got out of bed Jada had on shoes with her phone in her hand by the door waiting for Rosie to get finished.
Rosie put on her shoes and started walking out the door with Jada right behind her. Once they were out Jada shut the door to her room and they walked down the hallway where all the other rooms were before they went down the stairs and towards the front door which wasn't to far from the steps. They quietly went out the front door, Jada making sure to close it all the way.
