3. Embarassed

The car stopped causing me to look outside. The view was completely horrible. Like why mom?! Now my life had become a question - WHY?!
My mom was shouting in frustration which may have caused all the neighbors to gather.

Some people were near her asking what happened and showing concern. Maybe I am the reason for it. I told Jungkook to stop a little far from my house. But he is he. How can he listen to someone else?

"What's happening here?"

He asked me looking outside wanting to see the cause of crowd. Now this is another trouble. What to tell him? I faked a crazy laugh which made him look at me.

"Oh!!.... That.... Children.....the children. Nowadays....these children started making a lot of mess. Maybe because of that." He nodded his head.

"Then you should stay away from children." I frowned at his statement. "What do you mean?"

"They are the future generation. You should not spoil them by giving them your company." He mocked at me. Is being sarcastic? Or insulting me for real? I guess the second one.

I rolled my eyes at his reply. I was about to speak when I heard my mother's voice. "This girl y/n. Where is she?"

I flinched at her sudden actions and looked at Jungkook who was staring at me like he will eat me up. I again crazily faked a laugh.

"Thank you so much for leaving me till my house. It's getting late, you should go to your house. Meet you tomorrow. Bye."

I said that all in one breathe and opened the car door and went out. I waved at him. With a confused look he went away. Thank God.
I stood there in front of my main door of my house and saw my mother with a devilish look on her face and a stick in her hand.

Like, Seriously? A stick? She's gonna finish me today. Hell, Be ready, I am coming."
"Where were you?"

She came running towards me and shouted on my face. She held my shoulders and shakes me a little. I saw all around and all the neighbors were glaring at me. I felt embarrassed.

"Mom.. Why are you making a scene? Let's go inside and resolve this matter."

I said it more like a whisper.

"Forget this house. And tell me what were you doing in that bike race?" I walked closer to her.

"Mom first let's go inside and talk."

I grabbed her by her shoulders.
She was continuously shouting on me.
"I am so sorry for the inconvenience caused by my mother."

I apologized to everyone and took my mom inside. Now I stood there in the court of injustice of my mother. Where she is the judge and I am the culprit but I don't have any lawyer. And at last I will definitely be punished.

What nonsense am I speaking?

"I am asking this last time what were you doing at the bike race?" Let's play the innocent act.
"Mum who told you I was in a bike race?"

"That's not the matter of concern right now. I want my answer." Her crossed her hands. "At least tell me the name because of whom you're misunderstood."

She was frustrated yet told me.

"Seo Jun. That sweet, kind, innocent child who is living in the house in front of our house. He told me."

She yelled.
What the fuck. That rat like college student interfering in my life. He is so dead now. Silly brat. Now you just wait and watch.

"Mum you believe that outsider but not your own child." I gave her puppy eyes.
"Tell me how can I believe you when I know how passionate you are for that price of shit?"

God why did you fit such a loud Mike in her voice box? And when she know that how much attached I am to bike racing then why does she stops me?

"Mom, just trust me, I wasn't in any bike race. Didn't I promise you?
Maybe he saw someone like me."

I said with a calm tone. I tried to convince her a lot and at last she finally understood.

"Okay fine. I am trusting you hoping you will not break my trust." I nod my head with a wide grin.
"Yes Mom"

She went to her room and I went to mine. I threw my phone on the bed.

Finally today's headache is over now. I will just sleep. But that kid who informed my mom can't now escape from my hands. I will see him tomorrow.

Morning came faster than I thought. Birds chirping and the sound of the breeze. The cold breeze travelled through the window and hit my cheeks. The weather looked so nice. It was cloudy. The sun hid behind the clouds.

I took a warm shower, ate my breakfast and left for the company.
The ride on your bike in a beautiful weather felt so relaxing and soothing to me.

I reached the company, I felt joy and happiness in the atmosphere today. Or maybe it's that my mood is not spoiled in the morning, so I feel everything sweet around me.

The office hours were passing quickly.  There was so silence or only my ears weren't listening any sounds.
All I could hear was the clicking of buttons on my keyboard.

Soon it was lunch time. And then I remembered what was supposedti be happening today.
I quickly grabbed my bike keys from the desk and headed towards Yeonjun's desk.

"Hey Jun listen. I have an urgent work I am going. And I will try to return as soon as possible. If something goes wrong please handle it. Bye." I whispered in his ears and left ignoring all his calls.

"Y/n, hey but-" I heard him sighing as I left.

I accelerated my bike and withing ten minutes I was standing in front of this cafe.
