*Three days prior to Lukas' death
"Tchuss, Mutti!" Lukas says as he jumps on his bike and rides off to school.
Lukas lived in the countryside of Dresden. A couple of houses, shops, and a school stood strong with an old abandoned church right across the highway but that's it.
He drove across fields of canola. They were in full bloom this month. "The fields are beautiful of course." he thought. "But I know something much more beautiful. He said as he continued riding his bike.
Not soon after, Lukas was with his best friend "Klaus!" he shouted. "Lukas, wir ghets?" Klaus asked happily as they walked together inside the building to meet everyone inside. "Hey, willst du nach der Schule ins Baumhaus gehen?" Lukas asked. "Nein, ich kann nicht. Ich habe Aufgaben." Klaus answered back. "Ja, du hast recht." He answered.
"I'll just have to go there by myself then." He spoke in English.
"Wow, are you getting good at it!" His English teacher said as she walked past him
"Thank you, teacher!"

"Auf Wiedersehen Lehrer!" the children said and went on their separate ways.
Lukas got on his bike and rode to the forest behind the school so that no one would be able to follow him. He rode a little bit deeper into the forest till the town was out of sight.
"Niemand kann mich jetzt finden." he sighed and continued to walk in a bit deeper.
He followed the trail of small white pearly rocks of which he put there the day before. He cautiously crossed a narrow and tottering bridge onto the other side of the stream.
Walked in a bit further and reached the end of the forest where he was greeted with the sun hitting his face as he continued to walk out to the meadow with the wind whistling past his ears. It felt nice. Like a blanket covering him alongside a lullaby singing him softly to sleep. He put his bag down and decided to lay down on the ground to relax for a bit. As he lay there he could smell the freshness of the green grass and the beautiful scented flowers.
Picked some up for his mom and got up to continue walking further to the small lonely tree in the distance. "All by itself." He though. "Muss dort einsam, sein kleiner Baum." He looked at it and began to run. The air he breathed went sharp into his nose like as the wind to bit his face. He stopped. Panting. trying to catch his breathe. "Its almost Autumn, my friend." He said in english. "You'll be losing your hair soon." He giggled at the thought. "Ich weiß, dass das nicht das richtige Wort ist, aber es ist lustig." He beamed at it and began to climb the tree. "Ah" he exhaled. "Die blumen sind schön." He got his knapsack out and began to do his homework. Although he doesn't enjoy school much, he must work hard to provide a better future for his family. Plus, the scenery was beautiful. He was dedicated to letting his poor mother and father live a comfortable life once he becomes sucessful.
"Hallo mein Kind, was machst du an diesem schönen Nachmittag hier in meinem Baum?" Lukas got goosebumps at the words as he felt his soul drain away from his body.
