Y/n' pov:

I cock my sniper rifle and put the bullets in, sitting on the roof of a nearby building ready to shoot my target. Aiming the gun towards them, I line my shot right into this persons head and pull the trigger. Watching as the bullet goes to the building, smashing the glass windows, and hitting them in the centre of their heads. Luckily for me, it hit my other target too so I have more time to kill.

As I get up, packing my gun away, I hear the chaotic screams emitting from the building which makes me laugh. My job is simple, all I have to do is get hired to kill others. Whether it's vengeance towards someone who did them wrong or if it's someone who's got a bad rep between the Mafia and or mobs.

I make sure not to make any close relationships so that it doesn't mess anything up during the assassinations or missions I'm sent on. The only issue is that sometimes, because of my job, I get targeted by other assassins who want my spot as the worlds deadliest and most dangerous assassin.

I'm pulled out of my thoughts when my phone rings. Picking it up I hear a very familiar voice. "Miss Stark" he deadpans. "Fury" I copy his monotone, expressionless, tone which makes him sigh angrily. It's silent for a minute before I speak up. "How did you get this number and how did you know I'm alive." I say with a slightly annoyed tone. "We were investigating a murder when I found a number scribbled on a piece of paper. I asked Agent Hill to research the number and after a while of searching, we realised it belonged to you. We have yet to tell your father, your mother, Barton and Romanoff as of now." He says calmly.

"Whatever. Why did you call?" I growl. "There's been a threat towards New York and I believe you'd make a great asset to the team" He replies. "What team?" I ask, jumping from building to building. "The Avengers" he answers. "Who's in the team?" I swing through the broken window that leads into my apartment. "Your father, Captain America, Barton, Romanoff, the Hulk and Thor" I hear him pace around whatever room he's in.

"So you want me, an assassin who is in no way shape or form fit to be a hero, to join a superhero team and help save the world?" I drop my gun bag on a chair in the corner of the living room and walk into the kitchen. "Precisely" His tone becoming monotone once more. "I'll think I'll pass on that offer Fury. Call me when you have a better offer or are paying me to do my job. Bye." I end the call and throw my phone on the couch nearby before starting to make myself some food.

Fury's pov:

"What did she say?" Hill asks, walking into the room. "She passed. Call Rogers, we'll need to send him after her. She is still technically a risk considering the number of deaths she's caused" I reply with an annoyed sigh and she nods, rushing out of the room and coming back with Rogers about 5 minutes later.

"You called?" He steps in. "I have a quick side mission for you." I turn, from looking at the wall, to face him. "And that-" He gets cut off by the alarm going off. I press the coms in my ear. "Stark? What happened?" I say, rushing through the halls of the hellicarrier with Rogers and Hill following closely behind. "Somehow a girl got into the hellicarrier" He huffs out, firing up his arc reactors. "How? We're thousands of miles off the ground" I hear Banner say.

"She seemed to have some sort of magic to help her up here. It looks a lot stronger than Reindeer games from what I've seen." He replies. "Don't let her get to Loki or the sceptre. Just get her into a holding cell" I say before me and Rogers split up. Hill follows behind me and holds her gun out at the ready.

Steve's pov:

"Romanoff do you have eyes on the girl?" I say, running through the halls with my shield in hand. "Yea but she seems more skilled than me. Hill is unconscious and Stark had to call in a new suit because she somehow dismantled the one he was using." I hear her grunt a little, evidently trying to lift her. "Get Hill to the medical ward. Banner, don't freak out on us just stay out of the fight" I say, spotting her at the end of the hallway just before she turns right. "Wasn't planning on it." He replies.
