Reading the descriptive message sent to his mobile from Miyuki on every hour for him to take note of. Shinpachi, unbeknownst, he had a smile etched on his handsome profile. Internally, he was praising the girl for her professionalism on the first day, hopefully, she won't bail out.
He was far from feeling peeved by the buzz within his pocket she set a good practice and Shinpachi was grateful to her. Although, he winced at the first sentence because of his daughter's tantrum fit. Shinpachi arrived at worked slightly delayed having a trouble time leaving Miyuki's lodging, yet, he had no choice.
At the background, Akane wailed alarming an odd neighbour residing next door. After arriving at the workplace, Shinpachi quickly changes into his uniform before slamming the locker shut. Albeit, he pauses to caress Akane's newborn image. Indebted to Isami's understanding to his situation, he began to operate within the kitchen vicinity.
When he was given an opportunity to work in Shinsengumi, he concluded to take up a culinary diploma in a prestige faculty. He had to maneuver of taking care of Akane, working in the restaurant and rushing off to school. But Harada shared the labor, as well as, the others pitching in offering their assistance. Recalling the memory, Shinpachi was blessed to end up in this restaurant.
Arranging the decor on the counter from the corner of his eye, Shinpachi caught Harada talking to a mysterious woman. He figured the pair were in a casual fling when out of nowhere, a loud crash startles everyone in the restaurant. A flustered young lad with bluish-black tone hair was hunched over to pick up broken dishes. He was noted earlier of a newcomer, but neither one of them had the chance to self introduce. Vacating his current spot to aid the other,
"Oi, do you need any help?" he kneeled beside him. Shinpachi peered at the bruised face wondering if the boy was caught up in a fight. Working side by side in silence, they managed to clean up the space just as Isami breezes in.
"Shinpachi, I am sorry for not introducing you two," Isami chuckles nervously. "I want you to meet Ryuunosuke Ibuki, he's our new busboy."
"Please take care of me," Ibuki murmured never glancing up from the floor.
"Ibuki, don't you think it is respectful if you look at the person while greeting?" Isami spoke in a low voice. All of the men await patiently for the chap who was fiddling with his uniform because of nervousness before peering upward in a sullen manner. "Don't worry, Shinpachi and Harada are good men. They will help you to shape up here in no time."
"Were you in a squabble with your friends?" Shinpachi jerked his chin suggesting at the state of his face.
"No," Ibuki spoke in a defensive tone cutting off any further inquiries.
"Anyway, how is your Akane handling with her new babysitter?" Isami shifted the topic with ease.
"When I was leaving she had a meltdown by the doorway," Shinpachi let loose a sigh.
"She's still a child," Harada clasped onto his shoulder reassuringly. "Give her some time to adjust."
"The faster the better," Shinpachi rubbed his neck observing Ibuki puttering about with a wet towel in hand. "Or else, we might have to search elsewhere for a nanny."
"Hey, what about those women you talk to?" Isami piped innocently earning loud groans from the duo. "What is it?"
"Nothing," Harada chuckled as the pair were making their way towards the back of the kitchen. "You have to be home soon, right?"
"Kicking me out of my own cafe, huh?" the older man pointed a warning finger at them.
"We have to return to our duties afternoon rush will begin soon," Shinpachi inserted in a casual manner.
