When he opened his eyes, he felt burning pain all over his body, feeling that he couldn't breathe. He sat down slowly and grabbed his head. He just had dimly in front of his eyes what happened before he fell.He leaned over the edge, there was nothing there. Was he just hallucinating in what happened?Or he really killed him. He checked the bullets and found out he really had to shoot.

He hoped there weren't cameras anywhere that didn't exactly work in his favor. Now the main goal was to get in touch with Jenny or Semir and tell them what happened. The burning pain forced him to sit down again. He couldn't move properly. All his thoughts were crushed in pain. He felt how hard he was breathing and how slowly he was losing sight of the world. He saw the silhouette approaching him as soon as the figure saw Alex clearly step up.Alex didn't know who it was.

"Semire, this is Alex," Jenny called from the ship and ran to the limp body. "What are we going to do?" Semir called for her as he ran to the ladder.

"We need to call an ambulance," Jenny said sharply. It was clear to her that this would get Alex right under Sander's hands, but they had to save him. Semir nodded heavily, and his voice echoed through the port when he called with rescuers.

"Everything will be good, Alex," Jenny held him close, watching to see if he was breathing. Within ten minutes, Alex was with the professionals and they took care of him. Semir and Jenny watched the ambulance and were determined not to get anywhere from Alex. Now they had to figure out what was going on there.

Meantime

Sander received a call that recalled Commissioner Markus. He didn't understand why all of a sudden he agreed, though he didn't like it.It was explained to him that the Commissioner simply would not come. Sander had no idea what had happened or why so suddenly, but the voice on the other side of the phone sounded very professional and so poisonous that Sander believed those words.

As soon as the caller hung up the phone, the atmosphere relaxed. The hoarse man smiled contentedly in a place where he was safe and quietly planned what to do.He lit a cigar and left the room scented with smoke.Except for a few hiccups, his plan worked out great.

Two dead bodies near the landing were attributed to Brandt, even though he had nothing to do with it.Dead bodies without paper and any possible connection to the normal world. It worked out very well for him. He took two little cards in his hands, they were the IDs of the bodies. He knew very well who he was" taking care of."

He knew that if he lost Markus, he'd have to act.He wanted to destroy Brandt, out of sheer pleasure, and at the same time for revenge from the past.He hated Commissioner Brandt so much that he was able to sacrifice anything for him to destroy him.

He had one advantage over Alex, and that was that Alex couldn't connect him to anything. The young Commissioner was at the end of this case, and soon it will be over for him.If he couldn't get Brandt back in prison, the hoarse man was sure he'd kill him, but first he'd let him suffer like he did a few years ago.

He knew Brandt was probably going to be in some hospital after what happened between him and Markus, decided to go there and, if necessary, stir things up a little bit, as they say.But even the best player makes a mistake in his game.He forgot to count on one thing.

Alex opened his eyes and looked wearily at Semir."No one's allowed to see you, partner, we've made a deal with the doctors," Semir smiled. "But don't do this shitt anymore. We'll take care of it for you," he added, letting Alex rest. He saw that his partner could barely keep his attention to what he was telling him, so he left him at peace.

"Let's go, Jenny, we have to move on," they left the hospital. Jenny's gaze met the gaze of the strange man. One thing the man with the cigar did not count on. He forgot the fact that Alex had described it to Semir and he had written it down.

"You see the man on the left," she said, continuing on her way as if nothing had happened. "That's him," Semir said. Jenny nodded. They exchanged significant glances, and each went in a different direction, both aimed at the same person. Jenny walked over to him from the front. As soon as the man turned to leave, he collided with Semir.

"We have a few questions for you, it would be more than appropriate for you to go voluntarily," he smiled and squeezed the man's wrist. He just smiled. "If the police will make you happy, I will be happy to go with you," he added so calmly that he was accustomed to the certainty the two had had in his detention. "Fine," Jenny said, handcuffing him. "Let's go"
