Two people stood in the darkness of the vast area.
"Do you like the hammock that I installed?" The one embracing the other asked.
"Yes, but I'm more excited on the things we can do on top of it." The other one replied.
"Happy 13th anniversary..." said the one caging the other.
"C'mon, let's go over there so I can give you my gift." The other teased while walking towards the hammock.
In their every step, their clothes left a trail in the fine grass. They climbed up the hammock of pleasure while completely naked and their bodies combined amidst the surrounding darkness, the twinkling of the stars, and the blessing of the moon.
They shared pleasure and their love for each other all night long.

It was school break once again, Beam sitting alone overlooking the creek. He finds it relaxing to watch the calm runninh water. It sparkled as it reflected the moonlight that escaped the cover of the clouds. The silent air of the night was made more interesting by the melodies of cicadas.
By the riverbank, fireflies danced, glowing around the low hanging but abundant mango tree that was leaning as if it will fall down like it wanted to reach down and have its branches and leaves feel the lukewarm river water.
The tree hung so near the water's surface, most of its branches seemed to hug the creek, including the biggest and lowest lying branch that was nicknamed Arm of the Giant because of its peculiar feature of a seemingly huge arm extending over the water with small branches spread like a palm open wide.
T/N: Original name is "Bisig ng Kapre". Kapre in Filipino folklore is an earth elemental spirit in the form of a dark-skinned tall humanoid with red eyes. It's most distinctive feature is that it lives atop old trees and chills on its branches while smoking tobacco. It is said that when it becomes enamoured with woman, he'll spirit her away or impregnate her via supernatural means.
This majestic tree is located in what's known as Fairies Creek. Legend has it that it was where a beautiful fairy bathes under the moonlight.
The vast plain that's covered by a thin layer of grass beside the river and the abundant yet low-lying mango tree stood witness to Beam and his friends' youth. The haven of their childhood memories both sweet and bitter.
"Puuuung!"
Beam's friends shouted in unison before jumping to the water one at a time from the branch of the tree. It startled Beam.
"The hell Beam, you're it again!" said Lam before locking Beam's neck with an arm.
Lam is slightly bigger physically than Beam but they're of the same age of sixteen years. They've been together since childhood since they were next-door neighbors.
"You're such a dork Beam as always! King of dorkiness! Hahaha!" Forth interjected as he jumped his two friends. They wrestled down amd around the soft grass.
Forth is physically biggest among their group of friends. He will be graduating in college and at his age of twenty, he has a fine built because of helping out in the harvest of mangoes, their family's business. Aside also from the fact that he's active in playing sports and athletics.
"Well, what's new? He's always been a dork!" Park added and joked the friendly struggle. He's nineteen and presently in his third year attending college. He goes in the same school as Forth so they're always together.
"You jerks! You just one upped me when I was not aware! I thought you guys will never come! I've been waiting a while!" Beam exclaimed while continuing to fight in their impromptu smackdown.
