Jack, Jill and Angela were taking their English exams while the teacher was gone.
The teacher came in with a new student.
Mrs. French: Eyes up here children! We have a new student!
The students put the pencils flat on their desks, took a glance at the new student then stared at the teacher.
Mrs. French: I'll like you all to meet..
She gestured to the new student.
Mrs. French: Milo Murphy!
The students gasped.
Mrs. French: Now, continue your work while I learn more about Milo in the back.
Milo followed Mrs. French to the back of the room.
He bumped into a desk.
Milo: I'm alright.
He continued to walk.
One kid whispered to Jack.
Boy: I think he has Murphy's law.
Jack: What is Murphy's law?
Boy: It's like bad luck but it stays with you, in his case it stays with him. FOREVER!
Jack: Oh no!
The bell rang.
Teacher: Ok class, that's the bell for lunch! The ones who are finished with their exams, put them on my desk and the ones who are not belongs in your desks.
Some students put their exams on the teachers desk then lined up in a single file line.
They headed out the door.
~in the cafeteria~
Jack sat in between Jill and Angel.
Milo sat in front of them.
The lunch lady handed everyone a fortune cookie.
She handed Milo a cookie and then handed Jill, jack and Angel one.
Jack: You guys don't think that the new student has Murphy's law. Do you ladies?
Jill: Who? Milo??
The girls laugh.
Angel: Of course not babe!
Jill: Murphy's law is just a superstition!
Angel: Yea, now shut up and open your fortune.
Milo opened his fortune and read his out loud.
Milo: You will be effected by Murphy's law.
Jack gestures his hands to him and looked at the girls with a shocked look.
Jack: See? Explain that smarty pants!
Jill: That's just a coincidence, that's a superstition too!
Jill: So stop being an IDIOT and eat your food!
Jack turned his shocked look into an offended one and ate his food.

They were at their last class, which was culinary arts.
Jack: Excuse me sir, may I get a drink of water?
Their teacher, Mr. Douglas smiled.
Mr. Douglas: Of course.
Jack sat up from his desk and walked out of the classroom.
Jack saw a water fountain across the hall and was speed walking towards it.
Jack pushed the button on the side of the water fountain, nothing came out.
Milo was drinking from the other water fountain next to Jack.
Jack pressed the button again and the water splashes in his face.
Milo saw what happened, he quickly got out a towel out of his backpack and handed it to Jack.
Jack took the towel and dried his face.
Jack: Thanks, why do you have a towel in your backpack?
Milo: Just for emergencies. In case something like this happen.
Jack: Ok, let's head back to class.
They speed walked back to class and sat in their seats.
Jack: Hey Jill, I need to tell you something.
Jill turn around in her chair, rolled her eyes and sighed.
Jill: For the last time, Murphy's law is a superstition!
Jack: I wasn't going to talk to you about that!
Jack: I tried to get some water from the water fountain, but water splashed in my face instead! I think it might be broken.
Jill was about to say something, but she got cut off by the bell.
Mr. Douglas: Ok class, have a good day!
Everyone went outside to see their parents.
Lucy: So kids, how was school?
Jill: Interesting.
Jack: You can say that again.
