Secretly In Love

Chapter 1

Today was my 33rd birthday. I woke up felt a rush of wind hit my face. Someone left  my window open. I groan and get up to shut it. I change into some black sweatpants and a dark grey shirt. As I open my door, my brother jumps out from behind the wall with a kazoo.

"Happy Birthday sis!" He yells.

"Give me that." I say, grabbing the kazoo from his hand.

"Geeze I don't even get a 'thank you'." Peter says.

"Fuck off Peter." I say while walking down the hallway to to get breakfast.

Peter follows me down and sits at the table. I make some pancakes and grab the whipped cream from the fridge.

The pancakes were done cooking and I put  them on the table. I sit down to eat. I put whipped cream on mine and my brothers pancakes.

"Thanks Y/n." My brother says.

"Yeah your welcome." I reply, not looking up from my plate.

We finish and cleaned up. After I wash the dishes, I grab my bag and go outside. Peter follows me out the door.

"Get in the car." I tell him. "Let's go."

Peter goes around the front of the car and gets in: "Ok ok geeze. Someone wants to see their friends."

"Peter shut the fuck up before I hit you." I say.

He stopped taking and sat down. I put on the music and drive to the compound. When we arrive, my best friends are waiting outside for me.

"Happy Birthday Y/n!" They yell.

Nat has a cake in her hand, Wanda has balloons in her hand, Sam has cupcakes, Bucky has a birthday bag, and Pietro has a teddy bear.

They come over to the car and open my door. I get out and hug all of them.

"Thank you so much you guys." I say. "I love you all so much."

Peter gets out of the car and follows us inside. He goes to find Tony and Steve while me and my friends go upstairs to my room.

I put the stuff down on my bed and sit next to it. Nat climbs onto the bed next to me. I look at her and she looks at me. I see her face go red and she looks away.

"Well," Wanda says. "Open your gift. It's from all of us."

I grab the bag from beside me and open it. Inside is a wrist taser that can attach itself to my suit.

"Thank you guys so much." I cry. "I've been wanting one of these for so long."

"I'm glad you like it." Pietro says, smiling.

I smile back at him.

We all walk downstairs to go and eat lunch. Pepper was downstairs already making it.

"Happy Birthday honey." She says.

"Thank you so much." I reply.

"Peter went to go and find Morgan. I'm pretty sure they are playing with dolls." She says.

I laugh and nod. We go and sit down at the table. Pepper brought us over some soup and we all ate together.

"How does it feel to be 33?" Bucky asks me.

"Fells the same." I say. "Just a bit older you know."

Wanda smiles and picks up her spoon.

We all laugh and see Tony, Steve, Bruce, Clint, and Thor walk in.

"Happy Birthday." They all say.

"Thank you guys." I say.

They went to sit down just as Morgan comes running into the room, followed by Peter.
