This was it. This was the day you were going out to adopt a 'companion'. Tiny's are a very protected and much loved race of miniature humans the size of dolls. Laws were passed that protect tinys, now they are referred to as companions. Companions come in capsules. These capsules are like eggs. The tiny is developed inside and are watched over by the caretakers at the adoption facilities. Most capsules are adopted before they hatch. But there are a few that hatch early and are held until they are adopted.

Today I am meeting with a caretaker who has an already hatched companion. They say he's super cuddly and is a bit bigger than your average companion. So I got dressed and drove down to the facility. When I got there I asked the lady at the desk about who I would be meeting with. Then the back room door open and I met with the lady. She led me to the back room at the end of the hall.

"He's right in here."

Tinys all go through heats and ruts. The need to relieve themselves or else they go mad and could harm themselves or others. Their emotions and hormone levels rise to a dangerous point that the stress from it can kill them. That's why most 'toy' stores carry stuff for tinys. After I walked in I set him down and handed him a little basket.

"Alright Tai, I want you to look around and pick out what you think you'd like, when your done come over to me and I'll pay for it. I just don't want to you to feel uncomfortable."
After I said that he nodded and walked away. I started reading a few pamphlets about ruts. The most common signs of oncoming ruts in males are growling, agitated behavior, creation of a den, groaning and moaning, frequent humping, territorial scenting,  increased protectiveness, increased clinginess and increased hunger. After Tai handed me the basket I gave it to the cashier and payed for it. Afterwards we went grocery shopping.

There were quite a few sample tables in the grocery store today and Tai immediately asked to try them. So we stopped at every single table and I'm happy that he's not a picky eater. After finding things to make meals for the next two weeks I paid for them and finally started heading home. When I got home I put the bags down on the kitchen counter.
"Alright Taishiro, welcome home. I'm going to start on lunch while I'm doing so do you think you could set up your new space?"
Taishiro nodded and walked into our bedroom with his things. After 20 minutes I finished making pork dumplings and brought them into my bedroom.
