a few weeks past since prom night as we gradually made our way closer to graduation day.
things between sam, jack and i were better again, and johnson is in a full recovery from the accident. he and rebecca have been hitting things off and it's honestly quite cute to watch their relationship grow.
we were all currently spreading out blankets and pillows on gilinsky's floor. surprisingly, my mom let me sleep over here for the night.
"so how are things with rebecca?" jack g smirked at johnson, tossing one last pillow on the floor.
"it's good. i mean, it's going slow, but i think i really like her." jack j beamed. just then the doorbell rang, and i ran to open it.
"i brought beer!" nate smirked, holding up a case of beer while standing on the front porch.
i rolled my eyes, "come on in, nathan."
"why are you such a bitch to me?" nate narrowed his eyes, walking in and placing the beer on the kitchen counter.
i shrugged, "guess it just comes naturally."
"bro, she's never liked you. ever since sophomore year." johnson chuckled from the living room.
i looked back at nate from across the kitchen island, "he's kind of right."
"alright fine, play like that!" nate called out to me as i walked towards the living room, flipping him off with my back facing him.
"you guys ready for graduation?" sammy asked, taking a handful of cheese puffs.
i joined them on the floor, "hell yes!"
"i remember graduation." nate smiled to himself, walking over to us with a beer in his hand.
we all looked at him to continue on, but he just sat on the sofa happily sipping the alcohol.
"wanna play truth or dare?" johnson smirked.
"truth or dare is a bad idea with this group of friends, so no." i mumbled, picking at my white nail polish.
"you're no fun!" johnson whined like a little kid.
"she can be, when she's in the mood." sam shrugged, laying down on his back.
"yeah, like in bed." jack g winked at me.
i huffed, narrowing my eyes at him, "bring that up one more time and i'll ship your ass to new zealand."

after an hour or so our conversations and laughs died down, we were tired as fuck.
"i'm gonna go change." i whispered to sam since the jacks and nate were in a deep conversation about the difference between grapes and raisins.
don't ask me how they got on to that topic, because i don't even know.
i closed the bathroom door behind me, stepping on to the cold tile floor. i stripped down my clothes and changed into a black sports bra, paired with my glow in the dark nike leggings.
i fixed my hair in the mirror, putting it up into a messy high poiny tail. i smiled, satisfied with myself and turned around opening the door, but all the lights were turned off this time.
"guys?" i raised my voice since i couldn't see a thing in front of me.
"over here! right where you left us, just follow my voice." sammy chuckled sarcastically.
i finally saw the outline of the guys sitting on the floor in the dark room.
"why are the lights of-" i crashed into the corner of the wall, letting out a groan as my butt hit the floor.
the lights flicked on from the other side of the room with sammy looking over at me paranoid.
"when did that get there?" i questioned looking up at the beige painted wall.
"the wall has always been there, dummy." sam chuckled, walking over and helping me stand up.
"is it a banana or a pepper?" johnson asked gilinsky as i walked over to our little set up of where we'll all sleep.
"still on their topic of foods?" i whispered to sam and he nodded, rolling his eyes.
"i think it's a banana!" jack stated, showing johnson a picture of banana peppers off of his phone.
jack j thought for a second before arguing back, "nah, i'm thinking it's a pepper, just with a tad of banana flavorin-"
"guys, it's a hybrid. it's a banana-pepper." i stated, sitting back down in my spot.
the jacks looked at me for a second before their eyes slowly traveled down to my chest.
i groaned while reaching for a blanket to cover up and lay down with. why are guys so intrigued to girls that have on tight clothing?
"thank you for waking me up, rilee." nate sat up, sleepily. he squinted at me, "why are the lights on?"
"because i ran into the wall." i giggled awkwardly causing the whole room to go silent.
"stop staring at me." i whined, covering my face with the blanket.
nate turned off the light again but everyone's attention flew over to me.
"woaaah" johnson's eyes were wide, looking at my glow in the dark bottoms.
"what are those?" jack g grinned at me.
"glow in the dark nike legging, yoga pant, type things." i stuttered not knowing exactly what they were called.
"i'd so fuck you in those." sammy smirked.
"you seriously just ruined the moment, sam..."
"well i'm just saying! i mean, you look hot as fuck in them." he argued with me.
"wait, how could you even fuck someone with clothing on?" jack j asked bewilderedly.
"yeah, you can't push your dick through fabric."
"can you guys please shut up! i want to sleep!" nate groaned, clearly angry with us and how fast the conversation sparked.
"it needs to be completely dark. rilee, why are your leggings so bright?" nate asked, shoving his face into the pillow.
"yeah, isn't there like an off switch to your pants?" gilinsky asked me.
"no! there isn't an "off" switch!" i started to get aggravated with all of them.
"rilee?" sam placed his hand on my shoulder and i stiffened at the touch, "baby...just put a blanket over your legs."
"fine, i'll just take them off and sleep without any pants." i mumbled, slipping them off and placing them in my duffle bag, "ya'll are savage."
