"Uh yeah go ahead" I said unsure trying to hide my apprehension. "Michael called, since you were still at work, I talked with him" he explained. "He finally called... What did he said?" I sighed. "Well first of all I told him what I was thinking about the suspension and his behaviour towards you, which didn't get to him tho. He just told me that you could come back and he hung up" he said. "Just like that without a sorry, or I'll call her again or anything.... I.. I don't know...I'll deal with him later... Look, I have to tell you something too...." I admitted.

"About the academy?" he asked. My eyes widened, "You know about it?" I asked, surprised. "Yes and it's also the other thing I have to tell you" he scratched the back of his head. "How do you feel about it ?" Asked Tom, resting an arm around my shoulder, bringing me closer to him and stroked my shoulder, softly. "It's hard to tell" I said staring outside the window. He waited patiently for me to continue, "I'm happy about the proposition, but at the same time I don't know what to do..... but how did you know ?" I asked looking up to his two brown pools.

"I feel bad about it, I have to say, but this case was a test for the academy. That's what Fuller told me when we talked after Blake's cousin's case. He asked me not to tell you until the end of the case, I'm sorry. Since you were having fun and worked well for a non-officer, Fuller thought that you might wanna be one of us" he explained in a sorry tone. I brought my knees to my chest, still resting against Tom and took my head between my hands, rubbing my forehead. "A test ? That's why Fuller said that the Academy studied my work...." I paused, lost in my thoughts. "What about you Tom? If I agree, will it be okay with you?" I asked, turning my head to him, our lips were inches away and our stare was really intense, in the good way.

"Yes, I even told Fuller that it could be a good thing but it depended on you" he said softly, not leaving his eyes from mine. "You think so?" I asked with a smile. he hummed a 'yes' , "You have a real potential, and the crew at jumpstreet really likes you, they're asking me all the time when you're coming back, even Booker" he said with a smile and rolling his eyes evoquing his 'rival', making me giggle. "They do?" I asked with enthusiasm. "Even Booker, that's interesting" I joked. "Interesting ?" he asked, pissed off. "Relax, I'm just joking, Hanson" I said, stroking his cheek. "I hope so" he said, wrapping his arms around me. I sighed with a smile, "Tom, I already told you he is nice as a friend, period. I want nobody else but okay, how many times I have to tell you" I giggled then kissed him tenderly on the lips.

"Does that mean it's a yes for the academy?" he asked softly, stroking my hair. "I'm not sure yet" I said looking. "I don't want to force you, any choice you'll choose, I want you to know that I'll support you, there isn't any good or bad choice. it's what you want, and the most important take your time" he said honestly. "Thanks" I said, hiding my head on the crook of his neck inhaling his cologne.
