Life at a turning point

To a place of nature many come,

Very few go.

Across two days watched with eagle eyes,

Yet still flowing to characterise,

Are they what the eagles seek?

Caught in the headlights rabbits freeze,

Others stare and walk with ease,

Can they succeed?

To some it matters not,

Others seek acceptance with desperation,

Newly forged bonds strengthening the chains of events.

From all over friends appear,

Those who pass the test form a closer kinship throughout the coming months;

Heat, cold and rain,

Those friendships will remain.

To all who rise and win congratulations fly,

Those that fall from the tree,

Get up again to try and try!

Do not deny there will be strife,

Still this could be a turning point in life.
